First official Doom movie pic

The first official pic for the new doom movie is up. and boy doest it look like a stinker. heres the url. i'll keep it updated when new info is released.

I think Halo has some potential. Only if they follow the storyline, of course.

Then again, you can count it as a FPS/TPS crossover. You spend more time FPS'ing, though.

Doom = Not worth watching because it's just the Doom name and some other crap attached to it.

A shame, really.

I just wish the rock would dissapear as an actor. I dont see why actors are still persueing that action hero role. Those days have long gone. The only people that can pull that off are james bond, bourne, and bruce willis.

Vin disel was actually really good in saving private ryan and then when down hill when he persued that action hero roll. Doom will suck, just because decent actors dont want to be assoicated with a hap hazard plot.

Are you guys psychic? It's amazing how much info (re: this movie will suck, the rock will suck, its location, a hap-hazard plot, etc., etc.) you can get from one still picture. Please, continue to share with us your amazing talents.

Well, we do know most of the storyline to the movie by now and I can honestly say that this movie is a bad 'DOOM' movie. I've no clue if it'll actually be good so that's why I didn't comment.

Well its not hard to predict that it will suck, it has been done on short notice, it stars lesser actors who think they can act. Its not a talent, it comes from watching years and years of films. Idiot.

The Rock said the BFG is called the "Bio-Flare Gun" or something along that line. When asked if he knew what it really stood for, he laughed and nodded.

I know that the movie is what it is (a poorly done action movie with a limited cast), but I really am hoping that this will be a good movie. I have so many fond memories of playing Doom and it would be a shame if all that Hollywood could do for it is a piece of crap

At least that movie had the characters from the game...

OKAY. So it only used their names, for the most part. But still... I don't think a video game movie can be anywhere near as bad as the SMB movie.

i think doom will be the worst video game adaptation ever.
I mean lets get real, how many of these video game adaptations were actually good? Hopefully DooM is so bad that Hollywood studios Stop pumping money into this garbage.

Lets face it, DOOM had no plot, just a whole lot of killing, from beginning to end. If they can capture the original doom experience on film, then people will get bored of blood flying everywhere while Space Marine runs around looking for the blue skeleton key. And Any story these writers will come up with will be junk as most of them probably never played Doom but are working on Salary.

the funny thing is with hollywood these days

the adaptation with directors spoiling the "game into movies genre"

i guess they are out of ideas or they are not creative.

furthermore, they are actually spoiling the actor's and actresses's credibility and career.
