Which remix?

Posted by dj_helen_k on Nov-13-2001 02:30:

Smiley DJ

the Main Element remix

Ag.

If you can find me a decent rip of that remix then I would quite happily give you unrestricted use of my right testicle. :-/

James Holden is the man. My life will be incomplete until I find this remix - even if it's crap.

Actually, ignore that last statement, just found it.

Nice track.

hehe yeah Yum Yum have made one of the quality progressive house trax of the year. If you haven't heard any of their previous stuff then checkout 3 Min Warning (Scope Mix) as well, also a baddass tune.

Yum Yum W00t !!!

but this track has got nothing to do with james holden maybe ur confusing main element with mainline.. which is james holden

main element is Gwill Morris.. he workd with james hlden under the name Ogenki Clinic.. both are stunning producers

this remix is actually very yummy

Posted by Renegade on Nov-15-2001 13:24:

No, I'm 99 percent sure that Main Element is James Holden in some capacity.

You may hurtle abuse at me for 40 days and 40 nights if I'm wrong, but I'm certain that it's Main Element, not Mainline (who I have never heard of?) that we're talking about here. So unless my memory of what I read is wrong and Gwill Morris has an almost identical style to Jimmy Holden (check out Main Element - Headfuk...... classic Holden) then I'm fairly sure that Main Element=James Holden and whoever.

So ner.

Posted by Renegade on Nov-15-2001 13:30:

Actually, I could be wrong......

It says in the Silver Planet cover that Main Element - Generation was written by Gwill Morris, produced by Main Element. So, yeah, I may have been mistaken.

Erm, bugger. :-/

Hey Helen what is up? I love that track at the beginning of MOS session. Are you ever gonna come to the States to see PvD. We went to his set in Miami and it was one of the three best sets I have seen this yr ( along with PvD @ TWILO 2 yr anniversary and S&D@Space in IBIZA). I am trying to go to LA or back to Miami to see PvD or both. HAHAH. You should make it out here. Cheers, Push.

I personally didn't like this release that much...infact all of Bedrock's recent releases have all been kind of mid-set filler content. Those records that are good in a set, but not so much just straight out. But of course, that's sorta the idea of progressive

Oh well...its just not one of my favorites.

Posted by patticus on Nov-15-2001 22:04:

all of bedrock's recent releases?
you are DEAD WRONG my friend.
moonface - u get so give is as big as a prog house track gets, but i'll throw it in a trance set too. im not telling with what though

i like this release too, but i dont think im gonna buy it... and ya i was totally under the impression that main element = james holden
but i guess not?

Posted by DJ Fien on Nov-15-2001 22:13:

Patticus - Which Bedrock releases are you talking about? The ones I have (Aetherius - The Groove/Progression; Oko Tek - Lumionus; Revolt - Freighttrain; Apollo Vibes).

Yeah, Salt Tank - The Energy is a bit more PvD'ish, but thats not my style

Posted by patticus on Nov-15-2001 22:58:

well yah the ones you mentioned are all very deep prog house
the one that i mentioned.
Moonface - U Get So Give

Posted by DJ Fien on Nov-16-2001 22:57:

When was that Moonface one released? Don't think it was anytime in last few months (I could be wrong, of course)

Posted by Lost on Nov-16-2001 23:04:

agree with you fien. bedrock hasn't impressed me much lately. i did like aetherius and yum yum. probably will pick up yum yum. but the rest has been ok. gets me grooving but not really into it. don't know. wish they would pick up the slack a little.

lost

Posted by DJ Fien on Nov-16-2001 23:17:

Its not that they're BAD tracks, just not tracks that'd you'd remember from a set. They're good links and fillers, 'cuz you can't really have a set of anthems (Kinda gets tiring, me thinks...but that's my opinion).

Posted by patticus on Nov-17-2001 02:39:

i dunno, earlier this year i think this fall.
sasha played it in his 2.27.00 EM
