The OVERRATED Rooney

No more talk of this overhyped PUNK (ya i said it) who
has NO RESPECT for anyone....
He can score all the goals he wants in the offence-happy EPL,
but when a REAL defence faces him, aka Milan AC,
he beame INVISIBLE except when complaining to the ref.

Did he do ANYTHING productive over the 2 legs? Did he even
hit the goal ONCE? Where were all those "magnificent"
runs everyone thinks he produces? HAHAHAHAHA

Makes me LAUGH when pricks like Rooney have NOTHING to say -
TYPICAL Man Utd. style....ALL hype, no results anymore.
Your days are done, and we wont see them return anytime soon.

i really dislike em too but u shouldnt misjudge his quality though, no matter what you say, he played very good in Portugal against quality defences.

I know this doesn't say a lot, but Rooney is the shit in FIFA 2005, scored 2 of 3 goals against AC Milan in the Champions League Final I played, Ruud had the other.....lol.

He's only 18 right? I think that's pretty impressive...

FIFA games tend to give many skills to mediocre players. Rooney is one.

Thats the point - he IS good enough to play in all those competitions,

i like it, once more it has developped nicely (neat tricks) since the year before. i only wish the had added a bit more managing stuff, but they're starting to focus on that too now so thats nice

Its amazing that these threads still pop up. Every month its a different member of the manchester united squad. Rooney is overhyped but i would not say he is overrated. Its the premium that has suddenly been a demand if you want to buy british players. Since rooney is only 19 he is going to cost a lot, because you are paying for potential.

Everyone who slags him off, has either got shit in their eyes, or bears a really bad grudge. Also its not really a discussion if you are going to start off the opening post with your view and stamp your shitty badge of correctness on it.

Ask for opinions from both arguments, otherwise you just look like another cloned bitter football supporter with nothing better to do.

Oh im ever so sorry i forgot you were an expert football coach or manager. I doubt you have ever had any experience in football outside of being a fan. The lad is only 19, and was 18 in euro 2004 and was scoring for fun, against some of the best defenders in the world. People have never mentioned rooney as being great, but they mention that he has lots of potential, and at manchest united he has every chance of fullfilling that.

Also there is no need to capatilise everyone on your points, weakly dressed as they are, they wont hit home if you caps lock them all.

I dont think he is the best player in thw world, he is only young, and has a long way to go, but no one can doubt his talent, and his hunger to do well, someone once worked out that rooney ran 12 miles atleast in a particular game, (it was something like that).

I never said beckham was the best player in the world, he had talent, and was one of the best crossers in the world, but he let the adverstising get to his head.

I dont think you know much about football at all.
