The DS is FINALLY going online.

"At GDC, Iwata announced that the Nintendo DS will go online wirelessly later this year. Users can connect to service wirelessly at universal Wi-Fi hot spots over the world. Animal Crossing DS will be one the first games to support global Wi-Fi connectivity; Mario Kart DS will allow 8 players to battle on local area wireless network."

Interesting, I wonder if the DS can connect online, If you were to have a wireless router at home, Maybe it can use that, Though I dont have one or a DS, Heh.

It's been proven that the DS can connect through a wireless router. However, Nintendo has not shown off any of their games being played that way. Weird.

You are aware that Nintendo is known for some of the best and most famous 1st party games in the world, right?

Apparently you aren't if you already cast away the DS.

Plus, if Nintendo finds the PSP a threat, it will release the Game Boy Evolution soon. No worries though since the DS was only innovation while the Evolution will be up to par with the PSP, IF not stronger.

Two handhelds by one company? If a new Game Boy comes out so soon, I figure many DS owners will be pissed.

Not really. The DS is not of the Game Boy line and Nintendo publicly announced that the New Game Boy was ready right before DS was released. Anyways, the price tag is going to be $100.
