Skydive vs. I Feel Wonderful

Does anybody prefer the original as opposed to the Cosmic Gate version like I do?

Posted by sandstorm03 on Mar-14-2005 03:26:

umm i think everyone in their right mind should prefer

freefall - skydive...

i feel wonderful is just a bootleg that sounds cool in a club becuase it is a hard trance track with classic vocals...

I'm sort of biased because I don't particularly like Cosmic Gate's style ('cept for Firewire) but I really do think the original was much better. It is more of a club thing.

i feel wonderful was just a cool idea that turned into a production

She didn't look too bad when I saw her LIVE a couple of weeks ago here in LA @ Club Heaven.

Like most have said, it's all about Freefall - Skydive!

She looks about 40 to me and she does not reveal her date of birth which is always suspicious . Although to her credit she does look like a relatively good looking 40 year old.

Speaking of Jan Johnston, has anyone ever noticed this biography on her official site:

quote:
January 97: BT (Brian Transeau) is over from the US doing some studio work and is busy rifling through the city's Bluezone second hand record shop. Picking up a vinyl copy of "Calling your Name" (later used on American Pie), and impressed by the face on the sleeve, he promptly buys it (for 50p no less!). You know what DJs are like. Nine months later, he's finally listened to it. "This voice came out and I just fell on the floor. I simply had to track this woman down and work with her."

Now, "Calling Your Name" was BT's own production so I would have thought other people would have noticed what's wrong with that biography . It has been like that for nearly 4 years now.

And as for "Skydive", it eclipses that Cosmic Gate bootleg by a mile. It's a classic, no messing around with it.
