Question post your favourite Acid Techno production of all time...

The Rising Sons - Afghan Acid

runner-ups: Dj Hell - Allerseelen (Jeff Mills Remix)
Psychonautic Experiments - Flood
The Well Paid Scientists - The Gander

please try to refrain from posting Acid House or Acid Trance tracks...if it's simply termed 'Acid' under discogs or something or other, that's fine too, as many an Acid track incorporates techno as well.

what are yours?

way to many to list

Acid Junkies - Zurig (Trope Remix)

Not quite sure if it's my absolute favourite, but it's great anyways. Trope is an alias of Thomas P. Heckmann btw.

don't give me that humbug.

i said list your favourite or favourites, not the ones you happen to be fond of or the ones you simply know. i can likewise list a great deal more but the aforementioned 3 are probly my favs. heretofore.

that is nowhere remotely close to Acid or Techno

also, ASYS is for the most part Acid/Trance/Hard Trance, but i suppose they count as some of their productions are listed as just Acid..

I second that. The Kris Needs remix is immense. Also:

Lochi - London Acid City
Rebel Yelle - Mizbehavinit (Audio Pancake's Pass The Maple Syrup Mix)
Secret Hero - Control (Cristian Varela's Acid Madrid Mix)

i personally prefer Serious Tangent from Lochi
is the Rebel Yelle the one from Robert Miles's compilation? if so, it's banging as well...

You're pretty much in the wrong thread I'm afraid. This is all about the harder banging acid techno tracks from lables like Stay Up Forever, Smitten and Choci's Chewns. For more mellow acidic tunes you're gonna have to start a seperate thread, cos you won't find them here.

Acid house is dead. But sure, make a thread for the more mellow acidic techno too, lots of lovely stuff there.

Posted by Snooper on Mar-14-2005 17:48:

I'd like to add these as well:

Thomas P. Heckmann - Global Native
Thomas P. Heckmann - Backlash

Heckmann is the master of this genre, or at least he used to be.

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Mar-14-2005 17:50:

New Order- Confusion (Pump Panel Reconstruction Mix)
Hardfloor- Acperience (a bit trancey maybe)

well, this thread may likewise comprise more mellow acid techno tracks...as long as they stay true to the acid tech genre..
