t'was a nice one bruvva

In a potentially fruitless endeavour, me and chanoa are going to attempt to make "t'was" the new slang all the cool kids are gonna start to use.

Oh, and before anyone else says it, I'll beat you to it:

T'was the worst thread ever!

Now everyone form a sentence with the word "t'was" in it. Who here can be funny? Humor me.

t'was my word first

I'd rather convince them to use words like "pantaloons" or "milkweed". As in, "the new Avril Lavigne album has some major pantaloons, and that 4th track was just milkweed."

But then that's just what would tickle my personal funnybone... you feel free to press ahead in your endeavour, but keep in mind that most of the cool kids don't read TA.

B'twixt t'was and was i'm slightly befuddled.

Yeah, that was my attempt at bringing back B'twixt...

I have a feeling i didn't succeeded though. I guess some words are better left in the past...Mmmmm...Oh well, back to working 'yore' into every sentence i can when i get into those retrospective moods...

'Twas 4 nights before PARTYTIME, when all through the TOTA-house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse,
The drugs were bought, tested and hidden with care,
In hopes that King LAWLER soon would be there.

T'was the best one yet!! PROPS!!

But lets be real here, "t'was" ain't catch worthy.

Oh well, t'was funny in mine and andrea's msn convo when it first came up. Actually I'm laughing so hard thinking about the context of which it was brought up. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Oh man!!

One of those things you think about 3 days later and still bust a gut laughing at.

'Tis a waste of time, I say! "T'was" is too common! Any eventual Lit. major likely said that all through highschool. If you really wanna be cool, truncate the "e" from the "ed" suffix on all your verbs. Pronounce it as follows, where a word like betrothed becomes betroth'd (pronounced betroth-ED). That'd really be sardonically poetic (AKA cool, LOL!).
