I miss VBase
Anyone know why it isn't carried in the LCBO or at the Guv anymore? Was told by LCBO that it was a 'seasonal' drink for the winter (which made NO sense to me), yet it hasn't returned to the shelf since then. WTF?
wow ever since RedBull i never realized VBase was even gone
I miss my sexlife.

I miss it too Nat. I used to down revs like there was no tomorrow until my stomach couldn't take anymore and would burn from even a sip of it. Then I discovered vbase. wowzers!!
After a while the clubs stopped carrying it so I stopped asking. I stick to plain old redbull now but whenever I feel like it I get a shot of vodka with it to remind me of the vbase days. It ain't cheap though, $11 @ guv.
VBase = extreme gut rot.
Hmmmm yeah vbase was pretty good, good call Nat where did it go?!...except that ad they had with the girl in the red vinyl outfit and the MASSIVE cameltoe...what were they thinking lol...
why sell vbase for $7 when you can sell vodka and red bull for $12?
ECONOMICS MY FRIENDS!
I recall reading / hearing somewhere that the LCBO was mainly carrying VBase as a "summer" cooler beverage, so perhaps that might explain its hiatus and perhaps it may return come May-June.
The non-alcoholic version still appears to be around anyway, at least if the Company's website is still current:
http://www.baseconcept.com/
it's an energy drink yet the site's music makes me want to sleep.
I don't get it...
they havent been carrying it for well over a year and a half now
i miss it too....could chug those things down and then feel oozy 20 minutes later with tons of energy
EDIT: why dont we start a petition and get it back here??? according to the website, the distributors are in MTL....not far away...
What I miss is the variety. Drinking only Rev's before heading out is getting a little boring.
I haven't bought Red Bull yet.
im willing to bet its still available but the LCBO doesnt have it. Basically since the LCBO is the only place in Ontario that can sell booze, if they decide to delete it from the store then you are SOL.
I think this could be used as a very good case as to why we should allow private booze sales.
The response from the company:
"Hi Nathalie,
Im sorry to inform you that Vbase will not be available this summer.
Vbase was a joint venture with Labatt Canada and they decided not to go ahead with Vbase this year.
You can always add Vodka to a regular BASE, you will get the same results. You can find BASE @ 7 Elevens.
Cheers, Ugo"
How about this as an alternative.

Well, that doesn't apply to me, as I hate beer.
I just really liked the cranberry flavor of the Vbase/ Base.
