Its just really wierd, twisty and interesting. Ive heard a bunch of ambient tipe of stuff, but nothing that good. I would love to drop some of it in the middle of a set.

yea GC is good, but its a little different from what im looking for...

Posted by Snooper on Mar-14-2005 18:46:

Banco de Gaia is on the Planet Dog label, so some of the other artists on there should fit the bill. Children Of The Bong's "Sirius Sounds" album, and maybe some stuff from Eat Static too, though most of their work is on the more banging side of things.

Timeshard... hence why I recommended it.

Also, you might want to try and find the Feed Your Head compilation series from the Doggy folk, as well as the compilation Tranced Out And Dreaming (hey, had to squeeze a trance comp in here eventually ).

nothing wrong with trance, as long as its different

Posted by Sykonee on Mar-14-2005 19:14:

Well, that comp's quite unique from the standard fare. Some might be quick to lump it as psy trance, but really it's just, er, Planet Dog trance. If you know the Planet Dog sound (I think someone once coined it 'technorganic'), that's what Tranced Out... sounds like. No other way to describe it, really.

i like some psy, but i think house with psy elements is better then psy trance. A lot of psy trance bores me... Like, i dont like that full on psy sound...
