codec

Does anyone know of a site that has the ultimate codec that would play almost any type of format known or most??Audio and Visual

after each format i just install xvid and divx, those are the most used ones and you'll get along just fine. although sometimes there is that odd one out codec used, but then the codec and movie comes zipped together or there is a link to it at the place you got the movie. at least in my cases

I just installed the codec recomended in this thread, but it hasnt solved a problem i have. 2 films i have seem to have some kind of compression on them, they r both nearl;y 2 hour films, but on the timer it says they are only 10 mins, and it only plays them for 10 mins and then they stop. but if u zoom along to say ther five minuete mark, then its half way through the film

What is going on with these videos? And how do i sort it out?

Just download that Nimo Codec Pack. It'll do you good.
