hi...am playing the next week and i want to hear some diferent views about the sound setup on the mixers equalizer and the auxiliary...whats the best setup for you???try to explain to me...tnx a lot...reply

you don't really need to go all out for a simple party. what i do is we get as many speakers and amps as we can. then just hook it all up, get our music playing at 0db to +2dB max. and then just use the amps to control the volumes of the speakers respectively, and equalize it so... that it sounds best. since we rarely have top end equipment, the equalization varies from case to case.

as long as the sound coming out is not distorting, and is decently clear, you're good to go. just use the equalizers to add an extra boost to a frequency range that sounds lacking. DON'T just add a lot of low end, for some reason, people love to do this, and it sounds like ass in my opionion.
