Your Keyboard :: How damaged (or neat) is it ???
In other words, what is the 'physical status' of your keyboard .. it is the device where you type your letters for your letters, progs, keyboards, and send your god awful commands to your computer hoping you wont see the 'blue screen of death' ...
are some of your keys faded from continuous typing?
are you continuous frustrated with your computer, so you type violently, hoping you can prove your l337 status over your computer ..
are your keyboards 'white and sticky' ..
.. hopefully not ... black dirt or dust between the keys ??? ...
i have had my keyboard for about 4 years so far .. the 'a', 's', and 'd' are showing signs, but still alive .. the 'z', 'x', and 'c' are really faded out .. my left 'ctrl' and 'shift' buttons are bent up a little bit, and the 'enter' key makes the proverbial scratching sound everytime i press it ..
so how is your keyboard?????
I just sold my old laptop(32mB ram, pentium 1) that had ben and jerry's chocolate fudge sunday on the 1,2,q,w keys lol never took it off, cause I didn't want to work it deeper into the keyboard
BTW great thread!

I'm using the original MS Natural Keyboard (1st Generation) - everything after that sucked.
So far, completely faded keys include SDXCVKLMN and right-alt(from my quake days)
Broken keys: '0' on keypad
Messed up keys: 'y' - if I hit it too hard it'll pop right out - but its easy to put back
This keyboard has taken a beating and is the most comfortable one I've used to date

Yup.
And for extra nerd value, every other year I take every key out and I wash em, vacuum the inside and put em back.
I'll sell it on ebay in 20 years.

My left shift is busted up pretty good. It only works on and off which can be quite annoying. It has no real fading and it's not very dirty, which isn't bad considering what I've put it through over the course of the last four years.
A jug of fog juice (yes, the stuff inside fog machines) spilled all over my keyboard the other day. This stuff doesn't dry out or evaporate, so I had to open my keyboard and clean out the individual layers of circutry. Surprizingly it still works, it just lags a little bit.

I just got a new keyboard. I spilt a bowl of milk on my last one. My new one is nice.

my last keyboard (god bless it) was like 6 years old, the esc key didnt work, it went from a creamy beige colour to like a brownish colour (smoking and stuff in my room)
the 'h' and 'a' keys didnt work properly, the spacebar got stuck every now and then, the enter key kept falling out, there was enough shit in my keyboard to roll another joint.
capslock/numberlock/scrolllock lights were faded badly, or burntout w/e
thats abt it really for my old keyboard, my new one is just a little bit dirty from sweaty hands and using the numberpad for rolling joints etc
the '-' key, 'p' key, and '[' key are kinda melted where they touch each other, cos some nub left a ciggy on it during the last house party i had.
Wel, I once spoiled some drops of gel spray on it. Now that it's hard, I can't get it off!
This one's mine:

And the one which is connected onto my computer? - Well, once upon a time the cable snapped. Damnit, took me 3 hours to fix it!
