what the most important thing : THE PRODUCER or THE TUNE ???
Hi men !
Personnaly I think :
NO DJ = NO TUNE
NO TUNE = NO DJ
So, both have got the same important ! it is 50/50 ! and you ? do you think that the person who produce a tune is most important that the tune he's producing ???
regards !
DUMONDEFAN.
umm I don't get it
lol
Are you asking if the artist name is more important than the track quality? Like saying that people liked Flight 643 just because it's by Tiesto?
the tune dood!!! no matter who makes it
>JM<
yea the tune is what counts.
lets take a look at flight 643, i know a lot of people liked it, but personally, i didnt like it at all, and the reason i think was because of the dj name (tiesto) behind the track. now look at someone who was unknown in the beginning of the year, cosmicman, and he came out with that tune, i love you, i never heard of him, but i fuckin loved that tune.
basically if you listen to everything that comes out, you will find the good no namers and they will become known.
(look for the tune, not the dj) and btw, i was also disappointed with urban train
He's talking about the DJ in general vs. the songs they play. If there was no DJ, there would be no song because no one would be able to play it and no one would here it. If there was no song, there would be no DJ because there would be no songs for the DJ to play.
Get it?
the tune is the most important...look at Cosmicman....i never heard of this guy...but the track "i love you" is so amazing...
The tune for sure...who is No One Driving? I don't know but "Playa Sol" is really good.

The tune is most important I think (like everybody else hehe), but I also think that when you listen to a song and know that the producer is someone "famous", you listen to it differently. I expect more of someone with a name hehe. But its the tune that counts

Of Course it's the Tune that matters! Dj's come in at point where u must hear good Tunes nonstop, not before! At party the Dj makes the night by choosing the best Tunes! At home u listen to some good Tunes, it doesn't matter whether the music is continous or not..
So the producers win this round...
Though the tune is more important, there are dozens and dozens of quality tracks out there that most of us haven't heard. Why? Because you're not going to spend your time downloading a song from someone you've never heard of because there's no guarantee that it'll be any good. Take, for instance, the Shadow-Zone website. That place had dozens of MP3s listed for download. Most of them were by unknown artists. Now, how would you know which are good unless a) you have the time to download all of them, or b) you know the producer and you expect that since it is by this well-known producer, there's a good chance it'll be a good tune. Unfortunately, there's a lot of talent out there that'll never get recognized, and that's one case in which the producer is more important...
Personally If the Dj is good and can mix quite well then thats a good job on his part. If hes spinning crap musik then you know boooo on his ass. so what im saying is im 60/40 in favor of the dj. I would rather see Tisto spin his own musik than someone else....:TF:
All i am going to say, is that if there where no tunes, there would be no tracks, and there would be no need for Tt's, so therefore, there would be no dj's.
The track is always the most important.
The track - obviously...
The track will obviously recieve more attention if it is by a well known producer, but at the end of the day it the tune that counts...
