New Order - Blue Monday
yeh jumping on the M.I.K.E bandwagon again but this tunes works!
what others can u think of?
EDIT: Jules style
i thought it was by new order, or did they make a cover? anyways i didnt like the version mike played that much, or maybe i just didnt want it in that set i dunno.
edit; awesome, someone has realised that blue monday was not by depeche mode and was by new order lol
nikko stylez..
btw dude, cds pretty good, different stuff on there will pm ya at some stage. like the little double dot accent on the o of nikko like tiesto lol
thats right
sorry
lol
but yeh anyway, the mike mix aint that good but that song is definately dateless
hmm ill go with - Belinda Carlisle - Summer rain lol
nah hmm timeless, umm...the beatles - revolution number 9
led zepellin - dazed and confused
personal fav
anything on northern exposure, particularly:
Apollo 440 - Liquid Cool
Spooky - Little Bullet (Part One) -
Rabbit in the moon - Out Of Body Experience
imo
i thought this thread was about tunes you listen to when you're dateless...
K-Ci Hailey - If You Think You're Lonely Now
Gloria Gaynor - I Will Survive
Divinyls - I Touch Myself
and
Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby
Orbital - Belfast
Still sounds fresh in my opinion.
Also, a lot of Michael Jackson's stuff (shame about the trial
)

| Telex had claimed at the time that "the best compliment anybody could pay us is that our music is disposable - that's what all music should be", and the press sometimes took the same view ("Of course this is completely disposable music: next month it will hold no interest. It says no more, and no less, than a pair of Courrge peep-toe boots", wrote the Melody Maker in 79). Ironically enough, the future proved them both wrong, as some of their tracks just simply wouldn't go away... they seem to have exerted a crucial influence on many eminent members of the Detroit & Chicago house and techno crowd, who keep quoting them among their all-time favourites... |
mmmm would love to hear a mix of those guys out.
