Obsessed with trance

I listen to trance music almost every day.

Understandable... Nothing else is on the radio and the music is boring anyway.

My brother though, (at 10 years old) thinks I am obsessed with the music I listen to day in and day out.

I'm not obsessed, I just flat out love it. I dance, I sing, I go crazy when I hear the sound.

How about you? Are you obsessed?

I could maybe say I was obsessed 7/8 years ago, but nah, I'm not obsessed now. Just love the music.

I was madly obsessed with it about 10 years ago, nowadays i just love the music. Some occasional obsession seasons might occur tho.

obsessed 5 years ago, more obsessed now - loving progressive everything more now.

I like to think I'm balanced but I always find myself turning it off when my friends get in the car because they always rag on me about it. But I listen to all genres mostly prog and rock though.

I do listen to a LOT of prog, prog-house, and tribal-house,
but i have to admit i'm still obsessed with trance.....
nothing makes me happier

Soft Trance, Vocal Trance, Hard Trance, Psytrance, Mellow Trance, Wicked Trance, Smooth Trance, Gumbo Shrimp Trance, etc...

I just love the music. I would say that I have a pretty balanced mix of music that I listen to. Of course that will happen when you grow up listening to Zepplin one minute and Bach the next.

Well I guess I'm kinda obsessed

I got a fit this other day when I forgot my mp3-player at home and had to go to work without it

i`m obsessed, no doubt... but sometimes it`s difficult, some people doesn`t understand that obsess.

4-6 years ago i was very obssesed, im not as obssesed as now, but i dont listen to any other genres much, though i do listen to alot more tunes now. so i would just say i like the music

Hate to say it... but Trance doesn't do it for me as much anymore.

Just to caution you...

I've been listening to non cheesy EDM for about 5 years and there was a long stretch when I would be listening to EDM for 20+ h a week. Unfortunately, since about a year ago, the music doesn't hit me as hard/instantaneously as it used to and only because I had too much of a good thing and basically got burned out.

So be warned, you can get too much of a good thing and it will suck hardcore .

Just to caution you...

i was, i am and i will always be obsessed by trance music
i listen music at least 5 hours a day, i always listen to music when im at home or in the car

yeah, i dunno, i love the music but i guess i'm a lil obsessed, i get pissed off when ignorant fucks try to explain stuff to me about shit they don't know, i just get worked up pritty easy ...

same for me!!!! I digress to my infancy state tho when the right note hits at the right time with the right friends in the right venue on the right buzzzz..... not often enough as these variables are WAAAAYY to hard to control.

exactly - I used to look at like a fanatical religion - EVERYONE MUST LOVE THIS MUSIC - and although I have turned quite a few onto it - I have yet to meet anyone with the same knowledge and understanding and passion as myself - Loving this music for 7 years without taking drugs....that is the key to longevity of this music for me !!!!

Sure I'm obsessed, how can't I. Trance has got it all. To bad though, most people just can't understand the power of Trance. I hate it when they whine about how they think it's endless, and hasn't got any variation. I mean, mainstream music got no variation at all, it's all the same :S

Sooooo true.

I can be obsessed, but I wouldn't say I'm totally obsessed. I listen to everything, but sometimes get stuck on certain songs/sets and can't stop listening to them. So that can sorta be obsessive I guess.

i have a trance obsession like most others have drinking or drug problems. i admit it. even though i was born and raised on "metal" and rock, and i love to sing. nothing has been played in my car or on my computer but TRANCE for a good 6+ months. before that trance dominated 90% of my listening airwaves and all of my internet surfing was based on it. i am very happy with this obsession though. there arent really any negative results of it other then lost sleep. and i am proud to say i'm a sober raver/trance lover/club goer.

Somewhat obsessed, all most every day some trance tunes.....but some techno is also nice

i am currently obsessed; have been for a while now.
i find myself alone with this obsession with people around me.

i have to admit that yes! i have search alot the music that fits me but i at last i found trance and the last 3 years i am listening only this kind of music!!But that doesnt mean that i force the others who listen different kinds ( silly greek music for example ) to listen the same kind as me!!and i mean that
