Hey!

Me and Syntagma sat down again to create a new track

and here it is!

Ok the guitar is not that properly tuned...eh...if it is too annoying we'll change it. We enjoy comments!

love the fx on the percussion, almost a soft tribal feel. i don't think your transitions into your pads/strings is very well done, it almost sounds out of key to me.

the 1st breakdown is cool, some good automation with added bassline on the last part in the bar makes it sound full. the guitar is def. out of tune lol, i think less effects on it would be better. Infact, lets get rid of this specific guitar and get rid of the automation. Maybe put in some more pads.

i dunno overall, from a DJ's perspective the song doesn't go anywhere... infact the 1st build was more prolific than the 2nd.

from a producers ear the song has some cool ideas but i still dont think you guys had a direction for the song.

Ok, well I really am liking the idea of this song. Several things that can be changed is maybe a thicker bassline, a little stronger lead, maybe not so much chorusing on the girl, instead, more reverb. I'd really be interested in helping to make this track a little more trancey. If you are interested in having me help you or want to talk busniess (I'd like to do both actually lol), drop me a line at [email protected].

Cheers,
Zac

Theres been a few good prog tracks on this site lately. I think I'm slowly starting to loose my blind, ignorant hatred for progressive trance

Starts off pretty slowly, almost housey. Vocals are nice.

The melody you weave in at 2.01 is very nice. Beautiful stuff indeed.

Guitar is cool too... reminds me of the diablo II soundtrack for some reason...

wow it's really deep, harddefused lead... could be a bit crispier tho... it's a also really dark, in a bit like old hardcore....

Posted by Mycron on Mar-18-2005 19:42:

really cool percussions in the track, i like the women choir, the whole track has an impressive dark atmosphere, bassline could be stand out a bit more, synth melody is alright, fits this track perfectly, i really like the guitar in the track, sounding really cool,

overall, good track mate

Posted by Amfora on Mar-19-2005 13:04:

Indeed, the female choir/vocal is very nice. The percusie is realy a good job, the guitar is in version 2 is lot better then the 1st one I have nothing to complain on this track. Good work guys

i'm loving this a lot man. would be nicer if the bassline stood out more. nice atmosphere

Excellent track guys I really love the sort of emotional vibe that it has.

The only thing is, ... I think the percussion is a tad too loud and the main melody too soft in volume.

GReat samples, sounds, ... very professional sounding, I love it

well i like this!

nothing really wrong with it

v trancey though

awesome tune! love the female choir too i'll keep this one if you don't mind

Posted by dj dimwit on Apr-01-2005 19:38:

Thanks! What's up with everyone talking about a female choir? Haha! It's just a vocal sample of one singing woman :P

But I guess we don't mind you keeping it John (naamgenoot)
