What system DON'T You have and what GAMES You'd get for it if you had it?
Right, a little change of pace here.
So what consoles don't you have but you'd get it for specific games?
You can post old consoles too.
Me:
GameCube - For the Zelda series, Resident Evil series, Metroid.
X BOX - HALO series...that's all I can think of at the moment.
I'd wanna get a SEGA CD again cuz the old shit on there was just class.
halo 1&2 for xbox
final fight for super nintendo
bonkers (all) for turbographix 16

lol dunno.
weve got most rocking here and with a box mod weve most else too.
the ps2 has retaken the forefront with GT4 and SA, but the GC is pulling late with Echoes.
if you wish a GC for zelda or metroid then you need to leave the house and get the system and metroid. youll feel like youre 5 again wihout being pandered to. Metroids are the only series of late that make me amazed, but not stupid or bored. fucking class|
Sega Saturn - Nights, Clockwork Knight, Panzer Dragoon and Die Hard Trilogy.
Microsoft X-Box - Halo, Ninja Gaiden, Panzer Dragoon Orta
Sega Game Gear - Sonic the Hedgehog series.
Sega Nomad - If it were more battery-friendly, I'd LOVE to have a handheld that plays every single Sega Genesis game perfectly.
More to come.

Even BETTER music, and this game has the boss from which I had my old avatar. ->

Originally posted by DarkAngel The old LUNAR was very easy. Not many cinemas or voice acting but still a sentimental piece in my LUNAR collection. Great music. Eternal Blue, now THAT was a pain in the ass, let me tell you. Magic Experience Points were needed to buy spells. Even BETTER music, and this game has the boss from which I had my old avatar. -> PS remakes: First one was a MAJOR BITCH. No matter HOW leveled you got, the bosses were ALWAYS more powerful than you. The creators implemented some weird system where your level would be multiplied by a certain number and thus, the boss fights were a royal pain. Eternal Blue remake: Absolutely easier, but still no pushover. Didn't have that boss improvisation (THANK GOD.) One thing all the games had in common: The comedy. When you talk to townspeople, you would usually break out laughing from the comedic lines and dialogue...just great, great stuff.

Originally posted by DarkAngel Yes sir, RPG. First one is VERY rare now. Second now, not sure. My best bet would be E-Bay. I guarantee you will be laughing your face off when you start talking to all the townspeople and indulge in the witty dialogue.

Originally posted by ProgressivePete k good im definately gonna check this game out, thanks dark angel. theres this booth at this flea market not too far from my house, they have suprisingly rare ps1 games. i got two copies of ehrgeiz for $25cdn. and a origional copy of ff7 in almost mint condition for $15. so maybe ill try my luck there.
Can I give a heads up to anyone that's reading (who doesn't already know) about my favorite RPG's??
If you can, play Star Ocean: The Second Story and Valkyrie Profile (in addition to Lunar, of course). A must... Enix's best (the two I listed), in my opinion.

Originally posted by ProgressivePete star ocean the second story was pretty good. what i didnt like about it was that you could miss ALOT of extra stuff if you didnt have a guide while playing.

Originally posted by ProgressivePete now star ocean 3, thats a game. and i kinda liked that messed up plot twist so many people hated.
quote:
Originally posted by Yan That's very true. However, I didn't mind replaying the game a second time around to collect all the extras. I didn't get too far in Till the End of Time.

Speaking of which, I miss the pickpocket skill. Was such a neat little ability.
lol the exact same thing happened to me. i got the stealing gloves later in the game and i tried to steal form EVERYONE! but every time i tried it said "attempt failed" man i got pissed at the game at that point. then finally realized you have like a 20% chance of starting the game with it when you choose claude.
Originally posted by Yan When I have the time, I will. Unfortunately, there are SO many other games I'm playing at the same time. I don't think I'll ever get to finish TtEoT.

i know how you feel yan. soooo many games soooo little time
Originally posted by Yan Gotta manually do it.
Copy the "
Genesis (had it but sold it a while back):
General Chaos
Gunstar Heroes
Sonic 2
Contra: Hard Corps

. ah well, ill have more time for god of war
.
Gamecube - Any Kirby games and the Resident Evils
Nintendo - The Castlevania series, Zelda series, Metroid series, Ghouls and Ghosts, Gauntlet.
The original Castlevania games were the best I think
Genesis - Road Rash
MAN that was good.
Super Nintendo - The Castlevania series, Zelda series, Metroid series, Joe & Mac series, TMNT: Turtles in Time, Super R-Type, Earthworm Jim, Super Contra, Super Mario World, Super Donkey Kong Country, Street Fighter 2 Turbo.
Ocarina of Time and Super Metroid are still ranked probably in my top 5 all-time favs. I think I was the only person ever to play Joe & Mac... ever.
Dreamcast - Soulcaliber, Skies of Arcadia, and a game that for some reason I can never remember the name of (a japanese side-view game, starting with a B, where you are a robot flying through closed-in levels, and you can charge up by killing more guys and then use a special move that shoots out upwards of 100 missiles)
Skies of Arcadia was definitely an amazing game, resulting in my grades taking a huge dive for the two weeks when i played it for over 60 hours or so.
Playstation 2 - Final Fantasy VII
Pure classic.
Gamecube - The Zelda series and Metroid series
After all these years, these two series are still amazing.
Turbographix 16 - Bonk
I believe it was called Bonk... the game with the cave-kid with a huge head. Quite a lot of fun.
