Phynn all the way

I don't know really what to tell about this tune.It has a great intro,you really can't predict that this is Adagio For Strings which is a good thing IMO.But i don't like at all the transition to the main melody.It isn't smooth,they don't fit,generally it's like having two different melodies in your tune and frankly it can't work in this tune.Overall an average remix,BUT NOWHERE (and i mean nowhere) as good as the old remix of Ferry's (which is and the best version of Adagio For Strings IMO)

+1, really ruins the track IMO, would be sooo much better it's way over-used!

I usually dig Phynn's work but I haven't heard this remix yet. Any place I can go for a sample?

I really dont like this phynn remix, i expected more from him, more nice melodies and stuff but it really has nothing to add, this time phynn dissapointed me

Phynn Remix is pretty nice, but I prefer the Fred Baker Remix though...

I heard a great bootleg on the radio between Ferry's rmx of William Orbit and Tiesto's version, ... great tune

well i have to disagree with most of u guys so far, I'm really diggin phynn's remix. It's really pounding and evergetic, plus it sounds really different compared to most of the other remixes. You can still tell its adagio yet it's different, so I have to give it atleast a 9 out of 10. !!Phynn all the way!! I'm a really big ferry fan but i just don't quite understand what all the fuss is about surrounding his remix, to me it sounds to much like the original. well that my opinion atleast.

Crap, just like every version of "Adagio for Strings". Remixing this track is so useless (i take Tiesto's "Original" as a remix too), the Corsten Mix is just unbeatable + a classic.

not a great remix at all...and i must add: i hate when producers use the same "sound" for an extended period of time, the stuff used in this remix reminded me so much of "escape"

I don't agree with the title of the track
but I like this remix

The best among those 3 lately released remixes of Adagio For Strings. It's obvious, that nothing can be better or even close to the William Orbit's Barbers Adagio, but this Phynn Remix sounds good to me.

A disappointment. Didn't like the side chaining either.

phynn remix, dj danjo & styles remix and fred baker remix all are pretty crap IMO. ti�sto's original IMO is still the best version. i hope they'll release the full version on some cd single now then so i could get it finally.

like the phynn remix and fred baker also did a good job with his remix, but the original version, tiesto�s remake and ferry corsten�s rmx are unbeatable!

I think Tiesto's "Original" is one of the crappiest tracks released in 2004

well that's your opinion. i like it though. IMO it's nice and banging. i think most people dislike it because ferry did it first and this is pretty different to ferry's mix all in all. maybe people were expecting something different and maybe some feel that ti�sto's version was unnecessary, but still i like it. i like the current ti�sto style very much except for the whole parade of the olympics cd which i think is crap.
for exmple i liked these very much:
skin - faithfulness (dj ti�sto vocal remix)
bt - force of gravity (dj ti�sto remix)
madonna - die another day (dj ti�sto remix)
radiohead - street spirit (dj ti�sto remix)
dj ti�sto - traffic
and i think the whole just be album was nice, altho not nearly as good as in my memory. i guess i'm just different then than most people here on TA.

I don't like it because i think it's crap, i even think it's a big piece of cheese, IMO the synthesizers just sound awful.
That has nothing to do with Ferry's mix. I do have a "Adagio for Strings 'Remix'" Whitelabel here (according to discogs, this is a mat silver vs. tony burt remix), which i like very much.

IMO Tiesto's stuff since Traffic is througout cheese, apart from tracks like "Walking on Clouds", but those are collaborations.
