The anime is highly overrated and overhyped. Whereas most fans enjoyed everything but the ending, I thought it only started getting interesting around episode 50. Anime was a let down, to me, but I'm looking forward to the movie.

UMMM. LOL. That's a REALLY stupid comment. If anime wasn't made to cater the fans then the anime industry would have went down the pipes by now. It's the fans feedback along with the creativity of the manga-ka (or anime director) that helps anime be successful.

It was QUITE hyped in the anime community. There were tons of fans keeping tab on this movie which took 10 years to be produced and released.

To each his own. Naruto seems like a DBZ with ninjas... but many people who watch anime don't really want to see anything past the DBZ fight scenes which would make Naruto perfect for them.

To me, I didn't enjoy Fullmetal Alchemist. I didn't say the anime was bad. It's considered overhyped, (pay close attention to this part) TO ME (you get it yet?), because it didn't live up to its expectations (here it comes again), TO ME.

Actually, I'm not quite at the Narutard level. I don't enjoy the anime as much as others (One Piece, Bleach, Beck, etc...) since I'm not too into the DBZ type anime anymore. The only reason the Naruto characters are in my sig is because the Bleach characters are to the left of them and I don't want to ruin the pretty banner.

It IS extremely overhyped for the older group of anime fans... however, it's the perfect thing for kids. They eat up the DBZ stuff and they'll LOVE Naruto.

Then Hunter X Hunter is a ripoff of older anime. And older anime is a ripoff of old Samurai/Ninja movies. And those are ripoffs of REAL LIFE.

Yoshihiro Togashi is a legend, however, so I give MAJOR props for Yuu Yuu Hakusho and Hunter X Hunter.

If you want to ruin your imagine of FMA, read the manga. It takes a totally different turn.

The dubs are half in half. Some of them are good (the Elric brothers) while some are bad (Roy Mustang).

I thought the ending only STARTED to open up the world that is FMA. Imagine the possibilities.

Rurouni Kenshin and uh... (what was the other manga?) became monthly releases so that's why they spend so much time on them.

Speaking of sports anime, Eyeshield 21 is coming out in anime form next month! Can't wait. It's a manga -> anime of American Football! The characters are really great and the action will be pretty damn cool, as is in the manga.
