It's a welcome change from the chilly, cloudy/damp conditions of late, that's for sure. No doubt it'll piss down with rain when I go shopping in Oxford (is there actually anything there?) tommorow.

I had to do some decorating. Reckon i'm going down to the lake tomorrow if weather permits to do some circuits, it's a fairly nice circuit, about 1.5km of singletrack each way but I'm contemplating adding a 3rd ring to my crank cos I only get to go upto 18th gear atm and when im in full flow that's not fast enough

Posted by DJ_FRAZ on Mar-20-2005 14:01:

definateley not fast enough.
a guy from another store who i went to the bikehut roadshow with was talking about a guy on the net who does mail order custom carbon rings, for a fucking good price, so i may have to ring him up and ask him where it was he got his from again.
what front mech and shifters are you running?

both deore mechs

Drivetrain Components
Crank Set FSA Alpha Drive 22/32/Bashguard; 44t Included (thats from the site, they never sent me a 44t one with it tho) so that's pretty much what i'm looking for
