Hello Trance Dancers!!!!!!

Did ya have to post it three times

Posted by 718trance on Mar-21-2005 20:57:

Yup I had to, sorry if it bothered you but gotta get the word out to all the states and its regions.

Posted by Scottaculous on Mar-21-2005 20:59:

This is really borderline spam since your posted the same post on 5 different forums. No offensive but I highly doubt anyone would pay even $4 for the shipping fee for the CD. I suggest having it online for people to download.

Posted by 718trance on Mar-21-2005 23:17:

Hey-

It's all good if nobody is interested. What's 4$ shipping anyway? If you dont like it then you dont have to get it. Sorry to have posted the set on all of the regions, I guess Im very excited to have made this cd and excited to be able to spread it to those who support the music.

Dude, no offense, but judging from the tracklist, nobody here will want to pay 4 bucks for a bunch of cheese pop tunes. There are mixes available to download with much better track selection for free (check Amateur DJ promotion threads).

Re: Vocal Trance Mix Cd giveaway by Dj Veryfine

You better be a veryfine girl or else I'm not paying 4 bucks for this CD... or show us the veryfine cover with the veryfine girls. Looks like some lame ad on monster.com for someone trying to get a job.

trying to make a dance drink, with fruity tracks?

If you're not getting any money out of this? Why the heck are you spamming anyone? There are a 100000 DJs spinning fruity trance like this. Just go to any mainstream club. Playing what everyone else has already played the hell out of doesn't make your name stick in our heads as a good DJ.

Don't tell us we don't get enough of this crap in the states. We get plenty of this stuff, and this is the cheesey dance music that is ruining the reputation of EDM... making people think of dance music as nothing but pure cheese. All this set needs is a 2005 mix of Disco Duck.

You have actually been selling one-track CDs?!!! who in their right minds has been paying for that?

The point is... that's no approach that'll make people want to hear your set. If it's you promoting your own set... You would have more success approaching in a friendly, humble manner (e.g. "here is my new vocal/euphoric trance set. it contains various tunes i like. please check it out and let me know what you think") as opposed to what you did which was a very proud, cocky, spammy approach. HOWEVER, if someone else is promoting the set for you, they can brag all they want (e.g." I was surfing the net and I found this amazing set by DJ Veryfine... and I have to admit this set is very fine!!") oh yeah don't sign up a new name so you can do that because people will find out and will avoid anything else from you, regardless of who's hyping it. If you promote your set in a friendly, nonspamming way, you may get pms from big DJs or producers asking you to play their track, if your set is actually really good, you may even get pms offering you club gigs. Be smart. Don't let your spam look like spam

I've gotten away with spam, and I still do. If some of you haven't noticed, I've posted the same track(s) or set(s) with the same messages on various forums, but the reason I don't get caught, and people actually notice, listen, comment, and don't flame me for spamming is because I post with a friendly, humble approach. A thread that says you wanna be their friend, not one that makes you look like the teenager handing out store flyers out in the street (which you will eventually throw away).

Oh yeah, leave those rediculous slogans out... "if you can mix fruits and make a drink, then a DJ can make you dance by mixing tracks" Even if you have someone hyping you, there's no need for those lame quotes. By having one, you've made yourself into a lame duck. People no longer think of you as the guy who posted a set and wants some feedback. They'll think of you as the poor immigrant in the streets of Las Vegas giving you stripclub flyers.

---End of TranceMission---??? come on now you're copying Sandra Collins's old radio commercials to get us to listen to your sets.. Trying to be the first lady of trance? hehe

You're the one playing it.

Please close this thread, Scottaculous. Apparently this guy just wants attention and the more replies he gets, the more he's happy.
