MORE HEADLINERS TBA in a few days

BK (Nukleuz, Nettwerk, www.bkworld.com) UK

Ben Keen, a.k.a. BK, is recognized the world over as the most successful and prolific hard dance producer of all time. With worldwide dance chart hits like Music Is Moving, Hoovers n Horns, and Revolution, BK has reinvented the genre of hard house and breathed new life into the style. And in addition to having conquered the world of hard house with his production skills, BK is positioned to take over the global DJ scene, ranking since 2001 as one of DJmags top 50 international DJs. He calls his sound ever-changing and full of energy, with innovative infusions of trance and techno that redefine the hard house style. He believes that the sound of hard house has definitely changedits got to, and whether producing or playing, the sounds that BK creates represent the future of the genre.

KYAU vs. ALBERT (Euphonic, www.kyauvsalbert.com) Germany

In January the single "Velvet Morning" gets a release on Anjunabeats in the UK. The following single "Not With You" is featured by the singer Julie Lutat. In July this song enters the German single sales charts at rank 93. In August after almost one year of hard work, the debut album "Here We Are Now" is released in Germany. Kyau vs. Albert do a remix of "Jump The Next Train" by Young Parisians. This song becomes a worldwide club hit. Instead of accepting a lot of remix offers they do remix themselves to release "Made Of Sun" and "Falling Anywhere" from their album. 2005 will be a huge year for these guys and were honored to have their first act in Vancouver!

JK WALKER (www.xtremeuk.biz) - UK

Banging melodic hardtrance, it's the sound many people are currently looking for. Our search for hardtrance ends in the UK where JK Walker is making waves. His highly popular uplifting sound already brought him to clubs all around the UK and abroad. His first tour through Australia has been a great success while his first compilation in the USA (Secret Life Of Trance) is also a fact. Listening to his recent remixes for Bas & Ram (ID&T / Q-Dance) and Scot Project (Overdose) will only confirm what u've already guessed: JK Walker is the hardtrance artist to look out for. This will be JK Walkers first ever appearance in Vancouver and we expect him to rock the dance floor hard!!

MARCOS (Bulletproof, www.mostwanteduk.com) UK

Marcos Euphonic is the 21 year old future Trance star exploding onto the UK scene. Having produced and remixed over 40 club anthems under the guises of Marcos and Euphonic on labels like Bulletproof, 90Degree North, Ultra Di Fuse and NuLife its no wonder he is getting the full support of all the A-list trance DJs. DJs like Marco V, Armin Van Burren, Ferry Costen, Tiesto, Judge Jules, Dave Pearce and Eddie Halliwell to name a few are all singing his production praises. Be prepared for an unbelievable set as this will be Marcos first ever appearance in Vancouver.

(DREAM STAGE)

ICEY (www.pamdjs.com) USA

The long awaited is here as Solid Corporation brings you the Legendary and King of the Funky Breaks DJ ICEY. Discovered by BBC Radio 1 DJ and longtime A&R kingpin Pete Tong, Icey became the first American producer to sign to his label in 1997 as an artist, and then the first American DJ to be selected to record a prestigious "Essential Mix". With over 200 12 singles under his production belt, the King of Breaks has SoundScanned over 300,000 units in North America alone. Playing 125+ gigs per year, Icey is a touring maniac. But that doesnt keep him out of the studio during the week working on new tracks, constantly trying to push the envelope to make his fans sweat on the dance floor. Rising to worldwide prominence out of the fertile Orlando electronic music scene which has spawned the likes of Kimball Collins, Jimmy Van M, Chris Fortier, and Baby Anne, Icey cut his teeth at the legendary EDGE nightclub in the mid-90s, and even persuaded The Chemical Brothers to play their first show Stateside there. Be prepared for a funky treat as the King of Funky Breaks graces the decks of Fusion Dreams.

JUJU (Phuturo Recordings, www.phuturo.com / www.contagiousmusiq.com) USA

Juju is currently one of the States busiest and most established DJ/Producers. Respected for his fierce DJing, programming and exclusive dubplate selections, Juju is in heavy demand throughout the States, Asia, Europe and South America. Ranked by many of the top international DJ's as the best US Drum and Bass producer and with his tunes currently being played by Fabio, Grooverider, Invaderz, klute, Total Science, Storm, v recordings crew, John B, Loxy, Ram crew and many more, Juju has set the pace for international artist in the genre. Solid Corporation is proud to bring JUJU down to Vancouver for his first ever appearance.

hahahaha

kva is would be a nice treat and an interesting change from the harder headliners we normally see from solid

i agree with arpy, we dont get many techno headliners, as a matter of fact, not many techno parties to begin with, that would attract an older crowd perhaps

elena, are we going to fusion dreams?

Posted by spinswax on Mar-23-2005 02:43:

I think diversity is the name of the game here folks...change it up so it's not the predicatble rave formula 1/3 hard house/hard trance 1/8 trance 1/8 house 1/8 d&b 1/8 breaks..........techno has it's place too as does progressive........

it would be nice to see a Nathan Fake or a Mistress Barbara up there.....even Maus....she headlines everything in europe and will rock the nukleuz labels off of BK's records

just a thought....

as for who ya have so far, I have to say good job. I know it is tough and a gamble to do anything these days....

Posted by Tayfoon on Mar-23-2005 04:35:

Progressive doesnt have that much room in raves.

Even in Europe

plus, almost no one likes it here

Posted by spinswax on Mar-23-2005 06:06:

^ some how in peace love unity and respect sarcasm and immaturity doesn't have a place either.

Posted by apri_peel on Mar-23-2005 06:48:

actually, timur is right
even louge rooms at major events out in europe play house and such, not a lot of prog. prog was the way to warm up a trance night at a club, from what i've seen anyways. i guess when people wanna party, they want something hard and crazy to dance to

as for nathan fake, the guy has some killer productions, dont think ive ever heard a set from him. is he any good?
