teh pr0 needs a job thread...
i'm a fucking idiot.
so, i'm on my way to school this morning, and i decide to back out of my circle driveway...and i hit my across-the-street neighbor's parked car. YAY. now i have to pay my own insurance, which is like $1500 a year i'll never see again. my car is fine, his passenger door is fucked. WHOOPDY DOO!
i need a job. ideas?
That sucks. I've been in two small accidents and my premiums never changed. You should check if your premiums are going up or if your parents are just being dicks.

have you tried the texas work force place?
or go to the mall and ask to see if ppl are hiring
or you could try one of them staffing agencies

If so you should email me because my dad is a project manager at Mustang Engineering (and no, they do not engineer Mustang cars for all you Ford freaks. It's an oil business). He usually hires and fires people for his projects.
However, I spoke with him about a month ago and the position he was trying to fill for Secretary for his floor has not been taken yet. Secretary may sound like a ladies job, but does $18 an hour sound lady-like?

I was gonna take this position but I have school in the way. I believe the hours are as follows:
M-Th: 8am-4pm
Every other Friday: 8am-12pm
Again, this may sound like a sucky ass job, and believe me it is boring as fuck. I worked it two summers ago (2 summers in a row, including some weeks in August through September) and made enough to buy a used 1998 BMW M3 for school, and a nice ass trip to Ultra this year, Airfare, Hotel, Shuttle, VIP tickets to the event.
This job will, by far, cover your needs.

P.S. The building is located on I-10 (aka Katy Freeway) in Houston. I see you are located in Dallas, so I dont know what would be easier for you as far as working here. You could maybe rent a cheap apt. extremely decent and nice (which btw I also have the number to) which is just blocks from the building.
I'm only suggesting the best for you atm, since I know you are in need of serious doh! I've been there, and done it all!
heh...not to hijack the thread. but seeing as I got conveniently laid off RIGHT BEFORE going to WMC. I need a job to pay off my credit cards I ran up. If anyone knows of anything in the Austin area...retail, construction, or anything entry level fulltime that all they want is a high school diploma....let me know. I'm also military trained with an honorable discharge so I'm reliable.
