Nomen Nescio - Universal Emotions (ASOT Melancholic Trancer)
Hey People,
Just finished another track. I have let the creative juices flow onc egain. The track is called Universal Emotions and is a relaxed kinda euphoric trancer. It is a very clean produced track and I myself am quite happy (I am normally not very enthusiastic about my own tracks) with the endresult. I am not expecting many reactions, since for some reason people do not react a lot to junior trance addicts
But anyways let me know what you guys think. Feedback would be more than welcome. I also posted another thread on monday about the track Walking The Mile. Feedback on that one is also still very much appreciated.
Anyways the track Universal Emotions is ready for listening on:

Looking forward to all the hundreds of reactions
Cheers!

Nice sound on the bass! The hihats are too loud. Original twist at 1:20
Interresting breakdown, I was wondering what kinda melody you'd put in here
Main part is good, I like the way you made the melody. But the hihats are becoming anoying.
Overall, it's an allright tune.

I have to agree with you the hihat riff was too loud. I changed that and now it is a lot better balanced. Although I have nocited on many different posts of other tracks that people's taste when it comes to percussion varies a lot.
The track seemd abit boring at the begining, but the break made the track for me
, pumpy melody. Those hihaht are annoying btw.
Other than nice track, maybe u should add some more elements at the buildup.
Peace
Hi Mate,
like i told you i like the breakdown very much.great melody here.but when the main lead comes in after the raise you should add something to it,to make it more powerful and driving.and like the others said the hihats are still too loud.but otherwise good track.keep it up mate.

Thanks guys, now this is starting to look like some real response
I have already tried to add something extra during the leadsection but the problem is a bit that with all the layers that are already there, the whole sounds becomes to muddy. And right now I really like the clean sound.
I will experiment some more though. Thanks for the advice! Me is happy.
just listened again.like i said above already really really good melody.but u didnt lower the hihats.u should fix that.and perhaps add something to the main lead.lemme know when u fixed that.
I like you kick, a lot. bass is very good too.
I think you should decrease your high freqs...too loud, all the hihats.
nice break...about the main part I agree with Riialto, add some instrument or another layer to the melody to make it more powerful.
oh here's the higher octave layer..too loud imo.
hmm pretty good track, overall
Oke Rialto started commenting that an extra layer during the lead section would be nice. It was not easy to find a sound that was very subtle and could blend in with the feel of the song. But I have added and extra lead sound which kicks in after about 4.20 minutes.
I have made a new version available on soundclick. This is called Universal Emotions (new adjusted version). You now can compare it to the first version. Please let me know if you guys like the new version more.
Also adjusted the volume of the main hi hat. It is less loud now.
Universal Emotions (adjusted version) is ready for listening at:

wow, I didn't realize someone else had just put out a track called universal emotions, mines universal emotion...gah, I guess its invevitable to happen, but what gets me is that i've been working for about a month on mine and now when i finaly put it out...this...
Anyway, your track sounds nice, I like the clarity of you production, it sounds crisp even with 128k sream...
Melodies are nice, nothing super driving, but i guess that wasn't the point so it works... Harmonies and instruments are well used.
Overall solid product (what do you use to master?)
