Ben Watt @ The Raleigh

Seriously...wtf? I left work at around 7pm and met with some friends at the Raleigh Hotel on Collins and 18th for Ben Watt (formerly from Everything But The Girl) a girlfriend of mine is shooting a piece on WMC and had free tickets and drinks for this...hooked up yo! I stayed until 10pm, had some vodka cranberries (not by choice) and some vodka & redbulls, the lady that took care of us was too gracious, my friend's interview with Watt was delayed so we were being pampered...hey, that was pretty cool.

Infusion @ Crobar

At around 10:20pm I met up with Laliux at our friend Fernando's apartment to head out to Crobar for Infusion and DJ Rap...they were watching soccer with the volume down and listening to Motley Crue (I have no idea why, but it was cool...) at 11pm we got on a cab and headed to Crobar, there was no line at the door so we went in like flynn...the music was absolutely amazing...DJ Rap, Miami's new darling ripped it off behind the decks, plus...she's a hottie...can anyone say "hottie"? DJ Rap = Good enough to eat...yeay!

Infusion came on at around 11:45am, It was my first time seeing them perform life...holy divers!!!! they blew me away...no less! I was having a blast, the place was packed from wall to wall with prime-puntang...yummy, yummy...I love Miami! :biggrin:

Desyn Masiello @ The Marlin

At around 1am I get a text message from Raincry, asking me if I was going to The Marlin...I had no plans on going, but when I walked out of Crobar, something said "go!"...and so, I went!

I do not regret going to Marlin, I had no idea but I got there and the place was packed with CPers, that was very cool...Carlos F, George, Rachel, Chaz, Onisakura, Digital7 and some more...yeah...some more!

Desyn Masiello took the decks at around 2am and began to drop sweet tunes with mo mercy whatsoever...Rachel, CarlosF and I went down to the pit (a.k.a. Sauna) and hang by the deck for a while, this guy is amazing...what a treat!

At one point I just couldn't get any more and remembered how early I had to get up tomorrow ( I mean today...) so I bid farewell to my crew and headed home...walk up Washington and saw the sea of springbreakers flooding our streets, yo...this eason is a blessing for the city...the millions of buck these kids are leaving behind are going to re-upholster all of south beach's pimp-style white couches...bring on the bring spreakers, what a swell bunch of clean-cut wholesome all-american youngsters...jah mon!
