TRANSMISSION at Alexandra Palace

TRANSMISSION at Alexandra Palace. Slammin' Vinyl return to the Capital to hit a very special venue on March 26th: Alexandra Palace!
Any of you TA's going to be attending this uber event?

got there at 12:30 the venue is fucking awe inspiring. like an indoor festival, trees and hallways and tons of stuff., two full size fair ground rides between the arenas.

the sound bleeded a lot between the rooms, cos it's one big space with partition bits of wood. the hard core room sound bleeded over tons into the wild child (trance) arena which was a pity cos in the trance breandowns you could hear a loud d-d-d-d-d hard core beat,

one of those venues where the dj has to know what sort of sound he needs to put out, in order to sound good in the venue. the trance room almost empter towards the end of the night :| but the trance tunes were good.

would DEFINITELY go to another gig in the venue just cos i wanna get totally wasted early on in a place like that....

Was a quality venue for antiworlds paradise city as well.

Yup it sucked big time exactly because of bad sound quality, sound blending, trashy people, no space in coat check, dirty bathrooms, too many little girls on drugs, friking tokeins system for drinks, expensive rides, did I forget anything???? oh yeah did I mention sucky sound quality. I could not tell when Lisa ccame on stage, or may be I left before that. After it was no better - no trains, taxies or busses, but lots of ppl who wanna fight me or sell me more drugs - please understand I had sucky rave and nothing kicked so if u got puncched in the face - u better understand.. what else? NEVER GO AP!!!!!!!!!!! unskillfully...

well..the bogs were ok when i visited at 3-ish...the tokens for drinks MAY have been due to lack of license for selling alchohol. some nights i've been to didnt have a license, and got round it that way.

as for ppl selling drugs and fucked women....welcome to the dance
