[OT] What to do in Austin?

I've been meaning to drive to Austin and check it out...so I'm going Sat. What are some cool places to visit, things to see, and of course, where's the nightlife action at?

Haven't lived in austin in a while so not sure about the nightlife, but there's almost always something goin on in austin. Check out the "Chronicle" (a free paper at a lot of the stores in austin) It has listings to everything goin on that weekend, and more.

The fun never ends.

Are you over 21, how long will you be up here, what do you consider cool, & what sort of money do you want to spend? Right now your question is too broad to give you much advice.

If you're just driving up for Sat evening (& are over 21), a good cheap night would be to hang out for a few hours at El Camino at 6th & Red River, eating burgers (best in Austin) listening to the jukebox playing pool & checking out the scene. Then walk over to Eternal around 10 or 11 for Trance.
