Magik Musik Nite @ Space 3/24/05 Review + a couple of pics

Before I start this review, I want to point out a little message to Bling.

This is a Magik Musik Nite review. If you're going to post in here, it is to be a view or comment regarding Magik Musik nite @ Space. I don't wanna hear ONE word about Lawler or Sander or whoevertheFUCK you went to see tonight. You utter one irrelevant syllable in MY thread and I will flame you like never before. You have been WARNED.

With that being said, let's review.

Thanks to Damon who sold me his presale ticket, I got in with no problem. Opening DJ = trash. He fucked up at one point and there was silence for 10 seconds. I couldn't help but yell "OWNED" in Space. Whatever, I didn't give a fuck.

I met up with Karen and her friend. We chilled for a while, then DJ Montana came on.

You suck. Your track selection bored me. If it weren't for people bumping into me, I could have easily taken a nap to your weak lame ghey-ass set.

Finally...Ti�sto.

I was trying to sleep when I heard a different kind of tune. I looked up and Ti�sto was behind the decks, the crowd went WILD. His set was MUCH more banigng and better than the crap from 6/17/04. Redeemed himself quite a bit, but the overcrowding and the fact I couldn't hang with my fellow TAs becuz of it are what made me leave Space early. Eric was supposed to have made it, but they wouldn't let him in and he HAD a ticket. What the fuck is that shit?

To make matters worse for me, there was only ONE song I wanted to hear, and that was Ti�sto's remix of Force of Gravity. About 15 minutes after I left, Colleen texted me that he played it. I was pretty upset about that.

Tijs Verwest didn't suck tonight, but Luis Puig, his staff and the size of ClubSpace are the ones that did suck some major dick. And for that, I am very skeptical about going to PVD/Ferry tomorrow night. Your stupid money-grubbing bitch ass needs to learn to "expand" the club some more and run a tighter ship.

Shoutouts to Karen, Colleen, Toni, Amber, Terry, Mr. Jangles and Neil.

(Space screwed up SO bad w/the '3-day passports' 2 yrs ago, I vowed never to trust them again. The yr b4 it ran smoothly, but last year they handled it so unprofessionally. Of course last yr when I opted to skip the passport, it ran smoothly, & i would have benefitted from its use. Looks like they're back to scewing up again)

Well tonite for PvD, Sander, and Ferry they are predicting that it will be 3 times as packed and possibly WON'T be selling tix at door, besides their prices are ridiculous. I thank god I am not 21 so I don't feel so bad about not going...I'm going to miss my PvD but oh well I'd rather not go and be so smushed it causes a bad experience.

I was there since 11:30 Saw some O-town TA's, wonder if they got in. There were plenty of people with the passports who couldn't get in as well. It was crazy out there.....

Anyway supposedly they are doing refunds today after 12 noon, so if anyone else is in the same boat, head out to Space and they should be giving refunds on the un-used pre sale tickets. If they don't, hell is gonna break lose!

It's worth going to WMC Verndogs, trust me! Going to Space during WMC is something you have to really ponder....

Yeah, it was pretty crowded. That and the bass was killer, too. I hope Karen had a good time, I texted her before I left but didn't get a response.
