Lost the tone?

Used to be able to hear beats just fine but all the sudden it seems the tone of the bass went away that made it easy to match so im wondering what happened to the sound?
Set up are 2 orofon S style, mdr 700, tech mk5, vestax 275 mixer?

So what could be causing the sound to go bad? My guesses were....
New needles, tryed that not too much difference in sound.
Clean vinyl maybe? I haven't cleaned any of my vinyl in 1 year almost could that be it?
Headphones? Doubt it, there like 6 months old
mixer? Don't think so maybe 1 year old?
Any suggestions would help, maybe get some gruve glide?

You sure you haven't blown a speaker or the headphones?, is the bass gone in the main speakers or headphones, or even both?, could be a loose or broken cable somewhere, would help further but right now I'm abit messed in the head.

A friend of mine once had that problem for a night. Suddenly no strong bass sounds. After a while of frustration and trying "everything" we gave up and just started mixing. At the 2nd song I noticed the kill switches for bass were on

Point is, I doubt its anything w/ the records. Take it easy, check every connection and mixer setting. Then I'd go w/ cheking all the cables as DannyO said. Odds of hdphones & speakers dead - .000nothing% But you could check with any other speakers you got.
Good Luck
