Seriously pissing me off man!

Every time i try and view a thread or change to another forum, it sez i am not logged in, and asks me to enter my name and password.
Gettin a bit frustrating really.

Oh, and remember i asked to be a mod a while back, but couldnt because there where enough mods?

Well i never seem to see any mods posting here much right now.I am on everyday and post constructive stuff every day, pleeeese reconsider this.

so, mods have to post to show that they are around?

I am here every day a few hours, so I think that that is enough.....

I mean, i and lots of others dont have to post direct downloads and stuff.I was just sayin if you are looking for a mod, then consider me because i am here posting everyday.

Yep, same as Blik, i check the forums too every day and am on them for at least 4 hours every day, i tend only to post when i can help with something.

To get hold of a mod for any reason either PM them or have a look in the tranceaddict chatroom, chances are u will find someone on there that can help you

Transa, bud.

My esteemed colleauge Insomneac hit the nail right on the head. I had that problem when i first registered about the "remembering logged in". In your profile area, check user options or user profile, one of those sections you can actually choose whether or not to browse board "with cookies", which will not require you to log in all the time.

lol again - d00d, maybe if u harass swamps and offer him money he might make u a mod heheheh.... u r going bout it all wrong d00d.

i think swamper should jus make another bulletin boards, an make every1 moderators so every1 can be happy cause it seems dat everyone wants to b a mod lol

Ok, i now know. I only get asked to log in when i try and enter the "Sharing" forum or the request thread. Wierd.
Somebody please help me owt! Oh, and i have "browse the board with cookies" enabled in my options screen.

Firstly there is a lot of people who would like to be offered the mod job, i consider that i am here a lot. And i asked when i was new to the board. But i think the best way to become a mod is to show you can help people and just help the whole forum by posting well.

Neway, i kinda had this problem. I couldnt seem to log into places like myplay, but other places were fine. I asume you are usinginternet explorer. So just put all your settings in the tools option to low. And customize them, so they have no protection. This maybe a bit dodgy, but the i have had it like that for ages, and nought has happened. I think it is ie 5.5 that does it, 5 was fine. So maybe even try upgrading to 6. That may solve your problems

I assume you're using some kind of proxy to browse, and that you're using IE, try this:

Tools->Internet Options->Advanced

Make sure there is a checkmark on Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections

and we dont really need any more mods.. we dont really have good communications between mods as it is now (except between the dutch mods)

Tell you what, find every single post i have ever made on these boards, and look through them all.If more than 50 per-cent of them consist of double posts, then ill agree with u.

I do not make any double posts, and if i do, it is not my fault and it is definently not intentional.

I have the loggin in problem when I go in directly through a mail program with the links from tranceaddict mailor.......even with cookies enabled.

so......
the problem goes away...when i come in through ie or netscape...not from a (mailed to me) link.....

that may be your problem.....

I've been a member of several boards, and there's always a couple of guys who want to be mods... why? what's so great about being a mod?
I know to some people, it means that they are better and more important then the normal members, but that's just bs. Being a mod is about being able to nip problems at the bud, and helping out all the new ppl to the boards. About making everyone feel welcome and representing the board in a decent manner. If you do a good job of modding, then u get the respect, not for just being a mod.

humility can give u respect, respect = power, and keeping the power requires humility

if ure still not sorted, it might be da new ie 6 fin (if ure usin ie 6) , its got cookie blockin, at da bottum right u should check a eye wiv a cross on it, double click it and from there u can disable cookie blockin
