Solid Globe - Lost Cities / Found [FUNDAMENTAL]

wow Solid Globe are back after Sahara and Kalihari

Their rather piss-poor remix of System F- Igntion, Sequence, Start! made me think that the boys had lost their way, but they are back with 2 killers

Samples
Lost Cities
Found

Lost Cities has been a fav of mine since hearing way back in Trance Around The World, and definitly sounds like something Above & Beyond would produce. Lovely pianos make the difference here, with a breakdown to kill for . Nice and driving and nevers lets down.

Found is definitly my favourite, reminds me of Interstate - I Found U with some of the same effects used. Again like Lost Cities, nice breakdown with Xylophone and Piano type synths used, very chunky and filling and keeps up the energy till the last

Out to Buy now on Audiojelly

Lost Cities is great IMO. Typical Solid Globe style, but still as good as it was. And of course this lovely piano sounds, mmmm this is waht I prefer the most!!! Stunning one!

i'm in love with these tracks without a doubt that lost cities is my fav for 2005 and just for you to know Sahara was my fav for 2004

Yes, thanks god, Solid Globe are back with own stuff.

As good as always. Just loving their tunes. Typical Solid Globe sounds and typical rocking everything.

Yves La Verne and Maurice Night are doing it again. Thank you so much for this!

Lost cities is very nice but after a track like sahara i really expected for more.

I didnt love found...but i have to say it haves that magikal melody that i will love a good remix for.

averall

lost cities - 8/10

found - 6/10

actually i really cant say untill i will hear all the track and not just a sample...

Posted by wrzonance on Mar-28-2005 18:52:

Sad

I will agree, it may not be as good as Saharah, or Kalahari, BUT it's still soo soo soo fantastic

**playing: solid globe - lost cities [03:35 | 08:35] / 320 Kbps**

I WANNA BUYYYY ITTTTT

forgive me if I am acting like a small child. but man oh man. i am happy.

Posted by GRW on Mar-29-2005 04:26:

i somehow dont like any of those two tracks Their previous tracks pushed the limit way too high

Posted by Star on Mar-29-2005 05:27:

well. Found is a very special tune .. you can love it after you heard it a few times

Found didn't catch my ear from the first time but now after i hear it again and again i'm totally in love with this one .

sometimes there are tracks that you just need to hear them again and from that point and on it'll catch you

No they are not there yet

They might appear next week when the vinyl is due for release

Posted by lizarazu on Mar-31-2005 04:10:

Unhappy

Unfortunately, judging from the samples, both tracks will fail to live up to Kalahari.

found is 1000 times better than lost cities, after fisrt sek of this track you know its beatiful it has so much nice feelings , and piano is just beatiful its my favourite track from all solid globe tracks

Posted by stefanst8 on Apr-04-2005 22:19:

can't seem to find a release date. Anyone knows?

Posted by EverZ on Apr-04-2005 22:58:

I don't like Lost Cities, it has a few decent things, but overall it's not good enough. I like Found, the melody is nice, overall it also sounds a bit weak too but better then Lost Cities.

Quite enjoyed it, Actually.. Not usually a fan of Solid Globe, but I was impressed.

Tasty Work indeed.
