im tempted to go, mostly because i never seen oakenfold live before, but i dont know if i really want to pay $50 for a club night to see someone that i'm not really a huge fan of

hope the event goes well tho, maybe oakie will strike a chord of genius that night, who knows

I once paid $100.00 to go see Oakie (show got cancelled and we got refunded) but nevertheless Oakie is the Godfather of the superstar DJ....He did it all before anyone else. He was the first Cream resident before Seb, he had the first residency on radio one, he scored movies first, he has 12 production alias', he rocks my world.....anyways if you need any more pro-oakenfold info just pm me...

plus the name of my radio show is directly linked to something I read about Oakie....his sets normally start at 125bpms and end at 140 bpms...It has been my mission to pick up where Paul left off...

Calgary is the night after Van, its $25 presale tickets. This is cheap cheap considering despite Oakies questionable habits he still plays amazing tracks and puts on a great show!

Oh! (shameless plug) he also plays Black Tiger Recordings records!

the highest price i'm willing to pay to see him is $15 max and thats only if i dont have anything else to do, i've seen him so many times, and he's disappointed me alot.

word! and if im not mistaken that bpm quote is from this Two Years Residency cd. Its in booklet, along with a few other cool facts.

I wish i could see him in a more intimate environment. Everytime he comes to Toronto he plays in the guv, which i dont like cause the dj booth is up in the cieling
