Heres my detailed review:

All I have to say is what an incredible night!

It began with Edgar throwing it down nasty (not surprising) that had everyone going crazy. We did arrive early due to everyone's complaints of Tiesto, but got into the main room immediately (about 9:40).I never mind getting there early anyways, Always love listening to Edgar tear up the place! We all sat in our box and surprisingly the club never really was so packed all night long. I have seen it MUCH worse during regular nights PVD is at Space. I was able to walk around, dance, and walk to the bathroom without having to fight off a crowd. The night was perfect and even better bc we had such an awesome group of friends with us.

All of a sudden Edgar spins some SICK ASS track (have no idea the name) and then like 2-3 songs later PVD comes on.

OMG!!!! His whole entire 4 hour set was absolutely amazing! Nothing more than high energy, driving, intense trance. He had not been playing too well the last couple of times I had seen him, but last night, he SERIOUSLY impressed me and redeemed himself. He had the whole club going nuts, including all of us! We left a little after Ferry went on, so I have no review about him.

Shot out to our group of friends in the box: beachbunny, manny(the security guard), relik, karen, natalia, her friend, and mister ben.

Like I said earlier, surprisingly Space was not a mission, (at least if you arrived early, got there at 9 and there was a line to get the will call tickets but it moved pretty quickly. Also a line to get in, but that moved really quickly too.)Never had to wait in the side room, and went into the main room immediately. The club was perfect packed to me, I guess I was expecting a lot worse after the Tiesto reviews.

And thats all...Doug will post pics later...

Yea it was a kick ass party. Edgar V played a real nice melodic proggy set and PVD just rocked the house, bunch of sweet tunes. Been a while since i heard him play such an awesome set. Was pumping, driving, atmospheric/melodic, just the way i like it.
Too bad i had to miss the Ferry and Saunder mixes, as i had to go catch my plane to go home But next year i am taking a whole week off hehe, to not let that happen again

I am now home, and will retain great memories of WMC 2005

heres my review, and it may be polarizing in comparison to the previous reviews.. EDGAR, as always, threw it down, hi energy tracks, well placed and selected, he did fuck up one mix tho, it was pretty bad , but overall a great set. pvd came on and the first half hour i enjoyed it, but in typical pvd fashion it got very monotonous, and the tracks were very bass heavy. i soon left the mainroom to go up to the terrace were, stef(?)vrolek was throwing down some ill house. we later went back to the mainroom to catch ferrys set. i dont know were to start. if you love hi energy TRANCE, this set was for you. the energy was unbridled. the tracks were fresh and mesmorizing. IT WAS THE BEST F$*KING SET I HAVE HEARD BAR NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so many other ta's will atest to that, and some of them didnt even see all 6hours. yes i know it sounds blasphemous, but it was far better than any tiesto set , ferry was just on some godlike level all nite. almost everything he did was pure mynt, perfection. it was a masterpiece, a set of a lifetime. it was so intimate too. all nite he was making gestures and contact with the crowd, feeding off us, and us feeding off him. honestly i dont think i will ever see a better set than that, it was THAT BRILLIANT. i feel truly sorry for everyone who did not get to partake in this set, it was so special. im sure, rounder19, rachucf, drdave, SUZY SOLAR, vtec, will have some great reviews and info i may have left out. if you read this ferry, thank you for such a incredible nite, that set earned my vote for #1

Ferry afterhours is an amazing experience to begin with.... but as I told DA last night in an IM:

When it comes to track selection, a consistent sound, and cohesiveness, Ferry Corsten is absolutely the best DJ in the world. He is constantly thinking 5 tracks ahead, watching the energy of the crowd, hitting them with airy stuff and then pummeling them with something like Ronald van Gelderen - Cold Storage. Watching him mix and experiencing his sets, and their consistency, is so beyond what other DJs are doing it is incredible. If Ferry had the marketing machine of Tiesto, it would not even be a contest for number 1.

Posted by rounder19 on Mar-27-2005 06:13:

noone does a better job opening a room then edgar v, the mans track selection is ridiculuz.........paul van zzzz's was putting a good portion of fltas to sleep, boring garbage set, jesus the only time anyone woke up was when the horn was pulled....so after 2 hrs we ran up to see Cyroberg start his set while we waited for CORSTEN AFTERHOURS.......ive seen some good sets in my day but this was by far the best set ive ever seen......im very honest in saying that it will never be topped....he was playing so many sick new tracks, the energy was off the charts, we were constantly going nuts.....track after track. ive never seen anything like it.....all the tas were looking at each other shaking their heads in amazement....trancin at its best....it was just silly..

Posted by planbrad on Mar-27-2005 06:28:

damn sounds like i should of toughed it out a bit more through pvd's set and made it to ferry.

and yes that track edgar v played maybe 3 or so songs before pvd came on was crazy.

it was nice to meet a couple of you ta's.

i was at nikki beach, ta dinner, wet willies, on the sand next to the real beach, at a deli, manny's room @ the sheraton, then space. we got there a lil before 11 pm and edgar is by far the #1 opening dj. i seriously didnt think pvd was gonna be any good but wow he rocked the place. yes he was throwing some heavy bass tracks but overall i think it was a great set from pvd, even though the cd skipped 4 times. i only stayed to hear 2 songs from ferry but OMG the first song was fucking unbelievable!!!!! im glad niel finally opened his eyes to a true dj like ferry.. after the 1st time i heard ferry at space i always said ferry puts on the best show ever. anyway i got home almost at 6 am so i can get some zzzzzzzzz to goto ultra!

doug took so many pictures! hahaha! post it already.

Posted by BshidoHEAT on Mar-27-2005 07:35:

it fucking sucks that I couldn't go to Miami... a bunch of things got in my way... topping it was getting my car towed, and having to pay 110 dollars to get it back.

Edgar did the best opening set I've ever heard him play. Loved from track01 to the end !

Posted by DJReLiK2424 on Mar-28-2005 01:28:

ok and now 2 days late...my review

i got there a little after 10pm and met up with doug, maribel, and some of doug's friends.

we got in pretty quick and ran to the boxes which we OWNED!! the whole night by that time edgar was already playing...awsome set by Edgar, he is the perfect guy to open for PVD, he started off with some chilling tunes...then towards the end rocked it!! had the music going nicely for PVD to come in and totally destroy everyone outta hand set by mister PVD!! nothing but ENERGY throughout his whole set.

Overall an awsome night...unfortunatly, i left like 30 mins. after Ferry started...he kept the vibe going pretty nicely, but i was just too tierd and had to get some rest b4 ultra.

and about that edgar track that he played 3 songs b4 PVD came on WTF!!! bro that track was outta hand!! when that track came on me and doug looked at each other and were just going crazy. All i remember him saying is "damn u gotta be kidding me with that song!!" haha. definately the track of the night for me...i will post pictures and a clip of the track later so hopefully some one can ID...hopefully edgar will ID it

Posted by DarkAngel on Mar-28-2005 01:37:

I'm anxiously awaiting the pics.

I'm really upset to hear PVD played Nightoperator. That is one of my fav. songs ever and I missed it.

I wasnt there, but I'll agree on Art with this. The track sounds PVD style, not Edgar. Still a good tune, though!

Posted by planbrad on Mar-28-2005 02:11:

i dont remember how it went but that doesnt sound like it was the one. and from the lighting of the clip, i dont think so either. when edgar dropped this track, the place went nuts. i think they had the fog machines going for the whole track.

weaking like the rain
whispering your name
long to be reunified

leave, the sun will rise
when I reach the light
I will see you on the other side

And soon the sun will shine
when I reach the light
I will see you on the other side................................
