Don't fly American Airlines
Fuck AA and Fuck Expedia. I got to the airport this morning at 7am thinking my flight was at 954 (my schedule said so). Come to find out Expedia messed up the times and my flight was taking off in 5 minutes. I waited for the 1154 flight which I got on. 5 minutes later I was taken off the flight. Waited for the 440 flight which was sold out. And finally got on the 9 o'clock flight. I just walked in the door 20 minutes ago.
thats shitty bro, I had quite the panic attack this morning also.. RETARDED ASS front desk didnt give me my wake up call.. I ended up crashing around 7am when we finished up the Sasha Digweed Party and requested that I get the call for 10am.. ofcourse I open my eyes only to see a big red 12:30 glowing in my eyes.. mind you, my flight DEPARTS at 1:20.. NOTHING PACKED I scrambled to get as much shit as I could into my suitcase and thankfully Brian (V Tec) will be shipping me the rest of my shit sometime soon.. SO.. Im sweating buckets sprinting through the hotel to get a cab and sure enough theres 3 people ahead of me also waiting. Luckily 2 very cool germans were catching the next cab, and they saw the panic in my eyes 
.. I jumped in with them and covered the meter. Gotta love the european hospitality.
I ended up making it as soon as they called my row for boarding.
*sigh of relief*
o yea, I also wasnt thinking so I wasnt wearing deoderant. My shirt was drenched. I dont think I smelt bad but who knows.
Ended up pounding 4 cans of MGD to calm my nerves and passed out for the rest of the flight.
What a way to end WMC.. p.s. my week was a 10/10
while we're at it, fuck united airlines too!

my mum spent the night in atlanta's airport because of storms. said, there are a bunch of young people sleeping all over the floor.
i booked through expedia and flew american also...but i didnt have any problems. awhile back i got an email telling me my flight times have changed, maybe you didnt get it? that really sucks though...
No problems here with American Airlines, and I booked though cheaptickets, I even got better seats at the gate. 
You think AA or Expedia even cares?
Next time call the day before to re-confirm times, etc.
at least you didn't depart at 3:50pm for a 11:40am AA flight. i'm sure some of you guys might've been on this one as well.
Had the worst flying experience in my life with airtran ... they overbooked everything ... ended up camping it out at Miami aiport for almost 10 hours. Then I went through Atlanta which was the scene of the biggest clusterfuck in airport history. Planes were getting cancelled everywhere, airline execs were offering to bus whole flights to their destination, and other flights they were telling people they couldn't get them to their destination until Tuesday. Luckily I made standby on a 3am flight. Just got into DC at 5am (late/early enough to take the goddamn metro home). I was supposed to get in at 3pm sunday, but I was never so happy to get out of that shit storm.
Yes AA sucks ass!!!!
Last year when I took AA, I was there 1hour before my flight and tried to do the self check-in thing. The computer was unable to process even when the credit card was the same one I booked with. So the front desk person from AA came and took over. She then spent 10mins clicking away and finally got it to work. Then as she was about to print the baggage tags the computer freezes and she told us oopps!!! you have passed the 40min cut off time and now you have to take a later flight. I'm like WTF right, I was here before the cut off time and you took a long ass time to figure out your own system and now we can't board the plane!! She said there's no way to override this system. It was ridiculous. After that I never flew AA again.

yeah da, i got stuck in chicago when i was making a connecting flight to miami. a whole suitcase full of clothes and shoes for miami weather, and i spent the weekend in chicago (including 23 hours in o'hare international) where it was snowing. fortunately my sister in law lives there so we went out to drink and shop my sorrows away. the voicemail from james holden (thanks to my favorite ta's) was my highlight of the weekend.
