Who has written to Nova 969?

Hi,

I'm wondering whether everyone here has sent an email to Nova 969, complaining about the fact that they are going to take RUSH off air. This was the only real source of trance on Sydney radio so it is a shame that it has to go. But I know a lot of people who have already complained, so if a lot more can do this, they may bring the show back.

i sent an email but i wasnt "complaining" .. by running RUSH in the first place Nova has already done something that no other mainstream radio stations did (well, maybe JJJ to a lesser extent) which was help push the sound of melodic/uplifting/whatever trance and give it some exposure.

Agreed, I would complain about RUSH being taken off air but i'm in melbourne.

Since its not up there anymore, why not have something like that down here. I mean its not like they couldn't spare 4 hours by taking some of the ridiculous drivel that they play off repeat for a little while....

Exactly. I also asked them to reconsider and told them how little exposure there was for this scene.

well they play alot more type of underground stuff to a little mainstream music.
check out there timetable on what segments they have on.
i think friday or saturday nights the have a show called mix up and friday they have groove train and dont forget THE CLUB 1-6AM last friday they had non-stop prog trance and on mix up they had psy trance.
now you will probly have to wait another 4-6 weeks to hear more trance sounds or house

The reason for this is because each general manager has a nova state, and the general manager in melbourne DOESN'T LIKE TRANCE the crew tried putting RUSH in melbourne but so far we havn't had any luck.

Keep the letters comming..
We are doing other arrangments for the show in the future. I'll keep you updated if something happens.

i thought being in a company you had to be open minded, not always doing what your personal likes are i guess?

guys if we give them a good response you never know what might happen?
and if you have a manager that is'nt passionate in putting TRANCE on the airwaves then i would try and get another one, cause then it would be a half slapped together effort?
