Atomic in Ottawa closing...

This was a great surprise to find out about. I guess that they lost money on the renovations but that's no reason to just close up. I also heard that they are going to open something different in march or april. Do any of you Ottawa peeps know about this.
Where is Max Graham going to spin when he returns here?? Its going to suck really bad.

I'm truly genuinely sorry to hear that Atomic is closing, that really sucks for all you Ottawa people. I only went there once, on Canada day, but let me tell you something, that was the only good thing about my Canada day!! Getting to hear Max Graham spin for some enthusiastic people was great!
I have a few friends living and going to school in Ottawa, I had hopes of visiting them and check ing out Atomic, so that's pretty disapointing news
Glad to hear that the spot is supposed to be reopening, and at least untill then, Montreal isn't too far a drive, and every Ottawatian is welcome here

besides Atomic , what is the best club in Ottawa ? do u think that big djs can still spin there ? like Eli said , Montreal welcomes all the Ottawa friends to come and party with us . I hope Atomic is gonna re-open as soon as possible .

There is no other club. well actually there is Icon or Velvet whatever they call it but it is a gay bar and there is illusion or whatever they call it now and that place is way too sketchy for the likes of a princess. hehe

Icon ain't so guay on friday,it's mixe...it's actually better looking then Atomic and the sound system is NUTZ. It is now the best club in town. After that, The Well... it's small but with a very friendly atmosphere, espacialy now that Brad Copeland play there on the saturday nights.

reminds me of Stereo here in MTL
they all say its gay , well i know too many gays go there but the place is unbelievable, soundsystem is incredible and mark anthony rox the place! angel alanis already did! they have cool residents but people dont go there cuz they thinks its gay.
I say stereo is like the only club in MTL that shouldnt be dissed.
At least they dont diss anybody.

it really sucks that atomic closed down. i am definetly going to be making more trips to toronto and montreal. a little advice to those partying in ottawa: no matter what anyone says illusions is the worst club ever. dont trust it.
