Xone 62 Users. A Question
Hi.
I'm considering getting the XONE 62, however, I would like
to know if the faders are tight or loose.
Tight = A tad less resistance than the Technics 1200's pitch
slider.
Loose = Like the Pioneer DJM 707
I'm looking for a mixer which acommodates 3 Decks, Bandpass
Filtering, and, Tight Faders
The XONE 62, seems to offer everything I need. However,
I won't be able to try one before I buy it (Buying it
on line). So, I'm hoping somebody can tell me the status
on the faders in in regards to the XONE 62.
Do they offer resistance or not?
Thanks
IIRC, they are pretty tight, compared to other mixers.
eh, you can do a lot better than teh 62 for that money. byt to answer your question...the faders on that Xone are about average in terms of resistance, about the same as a DJM600...but they're shaped differently...
i consider it pretty tight.
Pretty tight indeed, love the mixer (have one)
you can do better for the money if you care.
On the tighter side of things
Thanks For The Help!
For those that say that I can do better than that, I'm
open to suggestions. However, keep in mind what I'm
looking for in a mixer.

Being a proud owner of a 62 for almost 2 years now and having played on various mixers I can surely say that the faders are pretty tight. Not as tight as a sl1200mk2 pitch slider, but certainly way more tight than any djm series mixer.
I have the 32, and the faders are smooth. You can feel the resistance which is nice. I reckon the faders on the 32 and the 62 are the same.
Isn't there any shop around where you can test them?

Thanks again!
In NYC, you generally hear everyone raving Rane! Rane! for club
mixers. However, owning a MP 22, I really didn't see what the fuss
was all about.
I was actually disappointed when it only offered - 8 dB tone contours.
To be honest, I reinstalled my Gemini UMX 7 mixer, after noticing
the tone contours was not effective.
If anyone lives in NYC, and, knows of a shop that has the
XONE 64 on display, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks.
Contact Allen & Heath in the US and they might tell you which shops in your neighbourhood sell them:

Hope it helps
