RJD2 again
As some of you may remember, I made a thread the other day about RJD2 saying that his album "since we last spoke" is brilliant. Well I just checked out some samples from "Deadringer" and was a little disappointed.
What style of music would you say that album is influenced by?
If you're looking for something similar, try anything by DJ Shadow.
its ok.... i know about DJ shadow
Not too keen on his stuff... although I am going to buy "The Private Press"
Im just disappointed with deadringer. but! considering that "Since We Last Spoke" is newish, he might be still making the good shit now.
anyway, maybe you can help me... take a look at this thread:

Then see what you can come up with
Does pass up Deadringer till you've heard it properly - it's unbelievable after a few listens
You might wanna check out The Avalanches - Since I Left You (album) aswell!
yeah avalanches r ok.
and as for deadringer I can tell you right now that i hate MC/rap so the tracks that had rap I will never like.
can u recommend any non-vocal hiphop.
If not can you recommend anything similar to "since we last spoke"
I'm the type of guy thats into echoes and reverbs more than dry sounds.
edit: The first time I heard iced lighting
almost creamed in my pants
no non-vocal hiphop?
....can't help you there!
