I've had really strange luck with TD machines. In the last year, I've found over $300 in them. A couple of times, when ppl get stacks pumped out of the machine, they grab it and leave a bill or two in there. Once in Newmarket, once in Eaton Centre, at the northern entrance while they still had the machines there, and once in Markham, I found $60, $100, and $80 respectively. A couple of months ago, on two occasions, I went to get cash out of an ATM, and there were extra bills inserted into the stack. Once, I got $40 out, and there were two extra bills folded inside, and an extra third wrapped around the whole thing, so total $100
But then again, I've lost money as well, so maybe it's all karma.

Hey, the luck comes and goes. Trust me, I've gone through some periods where I swear I thought the universe twisted in weird ways just to trip me.
What happened is that I saw a news story on CITY TV about dormant accounts that end up at the Bank of Canada...So just for the hell of it I went to the website & made an inquiry.I got a letter yesterday stating that I did have money from an old savings account I had years ago...So yeah its legally mine...I don't know how long the Bank of Canada holds it for but this news story mentioned that they have accounts ranging from a couple of dollars to millions$$$
...
As for finding money at an ATM...that's never happened to me....yet
