Drum Synthesizer?

I have waldorf attack vst, but it just doesn't work anymore with my system and steinberg doesn't support it any longer. I really liked that thing to make cool drum sounds, almost considered buying the hardware verison just because I need to make cool drum sounds.

I know sample cds work as well and effects but is there anything else to make drum sounds?

fxpansion dr008
sonic charge microtonic

i consider dr008 and microtonic to be two leagues above attack .... and with dr008 you get fully featured drum sampler.
