Windows...

Kheb zonet het spel "Baldur's Gate" proberen te installeren, maar m'n computer geeft de volgende foutmelding:

Dan kan ik kiezen tussen 'close' en 'ignore', maar 'ignore' geeft geen resultaat. Heeft er iemand een idee wat hier eigenlijk mijn probleem is en hoe ik dat zou kunnen verhelpen?

"Baldur's Gate" is een spel uit 1998, dus outdated zal het zeker toch niet zijn he voor m'n systeem?

Edit: tzal wel NT4 zijn I guess

If Bioware and/or Interplay were offering technical support on how to run Baldur's Gate under NT4, this is hypothetically what we would tell people. Baldur's Gate requires DirectDraw 2, DirectSound 2 and DirectPlay 5 (DirectPlay 5 fixes a pile of nasty bugs from DirectPlay 3). Thus, on Windows 95 machines, we will be installing DirectX 5, if you don't have it installed on your system. We are using a "developer-only" patch for DirectPlay 5 to test our game on NT4/SP3. On Windows NT machines, NT4/SP3 has DirectX3 support, and SP4 includes DirectPlay 6 support on top of DirectX 3. Thus, SP4 would be really really useful for those people who want to play multiplayer in NT. (In NT4/SP3, no protocols will be available for selection if you do not have DirectPlay 5 support.) If you have no intention of playing multi-player, NT4/SP3 will do just fine.

ja, da probleem heb ik ook eens gehad
ik heb toen die autoexec.nt vervangen door ene van iemand anders zijn computer, kweenie of die ne speciale had ofzo ma et werkte.

Kheb het inmiddels kunnen oplossen. De autoexec.nt was uit m'n windows map verdwenen, desondanks het feit dat ik SP4 al een hele tijd heb staan. De autoexec.nt stond eveneens in de 'repair' directory, dus effe gekopieerd en 't is gelukt

Kben zelf eigenlijl meer verslaafd aan RPG's zoals Gothic en Gothic 2 (Arx Fatalis vond ik ook nog wel goed) - zo'n vrijheid in gaan en staan waar je wil vind je bijna nergens denk ik.
