Trance track (full)

Hello fellow producers,

A few months ago i've finished a new trance track. Maybe you people could review it, because there are some things in the track which i'm not fully satisfied about. Maybe you could give me some tips on the track. Here's the link:

http://www.zwaluwengramsbergen.nl/s...ancetrack96.mp3

It's produced in Reason 2.5
Total time apr. 8.50 min.

Enjoy.

Greetz,
Six Senses

I have no negative comments about this.

nice track!

suggestions: emphasize your breakdowns a little more, gives the listener more time to catch some breath and gives more contrast to your buildups.

keep it up!

Aside from the obvious lack of sound quality (96kbps), I'd say you have a pretty solid foundation right from the start. I like that bass instrument and the rhythm it's producing. You might want to take it easy on the reverse symbols. At this point I'm enjoying the sound so much I wish it were full quality. At your first break down at around 2:20, I wish there was more of a melodic statement being pronounced right there, it comes in a little later. Your melody is excellent, but I'm defintely feeling an overload of those reverse symbols! At 3:44 it's defintely rocking my entire house, and a friend has just come in from the other room to hear. I like the break beats in your second break down, and I'm really glad you brought back that melody. I like the change in dynamics. 7:10, your outro is still strong, it's resonating with energy from the climax. Great presentation, my negative feedback is in regard to your use of reverse symbols, I think they're over used, I'm sure you can break it down another way. Also, the sound quality is kind of discouraging. 9/10, great job!

Wow, great reason work! I know how frustrating it can be to keep the malstrom lead sounding good at such high pitches, and you did a great job with that (is that even a malstrom lead or is it a sample? that sounds pretty good! I wish I could make that phat of a lead with reason )

Did you do any work on it outside of reason? Please check your PMs.

This is good work mate defo need a better bit rate sample but i like the way it lifts through out. get this to some labels mate no question, unless you already have haha

I don't usually reply on these, but I felt the particular need to this time..

This is pretty solid. Pretty impressive sounds that you're getting out of Reason.

I like the melody, about the only thing I could possibly suggest is to give maybe *a bit* more time for buildup from the Intro.

Aside from that, VERY solid..

PM me if you haven't got a label on this yet.

mm...

brings back old feelings of Airbase product. Well done, great melody, great synth/arrangement work. I like how the bass stays distinct even though there are many elements driving the track as well. Very solid song

I like the song alot however it does have a bit of that every other trance song sounding qualities. Nice blends and use of effects at around 2 minutes

pretty solid, would certainly suppost this if you have a higher bitrate

only thing i can suggest about the production is introducing a more powerful sub, the bass, although clean, is very barren in the sub

Thanx for your review.
You suggest putting an extra deeper bass alongside this bass. Or changing this bass sound?

I will post a better bitrate when i've completed the changes

add a bass purely that is sub, something along the lines of the bread bass preset for subtractor in the factory soundbank, it is that frequency range that you are missing.

Thanx for the tip. i've made the change with the bass in the track. I've also changed the clap in the track. I've reduced the reversed crashed. I've also added some extra percussion and changed the volumes of the hats (made it a little bit louder)

i will post the result moday i think aight. Any more suggestions?
