Today at work...

I feel asleep on my lunch break at 2pm in the staff room, only to awaken almost 3 hours later at 4.55pm. My shift finished at 5pm. Noone even knew I was gone, what a result. Best shift ever!

I have so little to do at work recently that i can take 2-3hr lunch breaks without anyone even blinking an eye let alone wondering where i am.. Nobody keeps track of when you leave for ur break and there are plenty of excuses i can use for why ive been gone for so long in the off chance i do get queried! I love it!

...although come financial year end this will no longer be the case unfortunately.

(well do you get paid while you're still at lunch break ?? .. i know some companies force you to punch out when you take a lunch break, and punch back in when you come back ..

if you don't get paid on lunch, then you're screwed 2 and a half hours .. ) ...

I'll have you know i'm very important mister! I am the only person in the store that knows remotely anything about how to do my job. Is it like Stock Management? I used to do that at Safeways, the managers had no idea wtf I was doing, even my controller didn't. Took me fuck all time to do everything.

Silly buggers gave me a reducing gun thing..... hehehe ment I got big packs of fresh dounuts @ 2p a go for my 2 hour '15mins' breaks.

i do the front desk night shift at a diamond rated 3star hotel, whatever the fuck that means. between the late check ins and the early wake up calls all i have to handle is the night audit which takes all of 45 minutes to do. then i basically pass out. me and my bellman switch it up. 2 nights ago i slept for 4 hours straight. it was awesome. my hotel is small enough for me to do nothing all night. i love my job. at least so far.... this past week 3 managers quit. so im either getting a promotion, or im getting fired with the rest of em.
