Vestax PCV275 - How to plug in?

Sorry for the bad pix. My digicam is fucked
Anyone know how to plug that plug in?

Fine, problem solved! That mofos sent me a mixer with UK norm plug. I need a EU norm one

Na, why should I?

Vestax did a nice trick. You just have to unplug the UK norm plug. Do it carefully with a normal screwdriver because the screw is a special one (never seen that type before) Underneath is a EU norm plug

the uk plug is so gay! dunno how the people in the uk ever came up with it. it's so fucking huge too and it sucks in every way. they should start using the proper eu plug IMO.

what, no, its that silly european plug thats gay! c'mon you gotta admit it does look a bit camp

Yeap a fuse, handy thing it is too.

I don't get how 2 prongs works.

uk = 1 live, 1 neutral, 1 earth

take it the inferior plugs don't have an earth or something?

We have ground on things that need it, but things that dont are just 2.

So main differance is the lack of a fuse? Seems a bit weird to not have a fuse.

Probebly have something to do with the wiring strategy used we use ring main circuits here.

Likely you guys can rely upon your main circuit breakers to limit things properly. Though for low current stuff it could fuck up. Supose under fault you'd hope it'd try to pull shit loads of current though.

EDIT:

main->isolator-> power distribution board(area CBs)->wires->sockets->plugs (we have fuses)-> device

your power distribution boards probebly have higher granularity than ours(more CBs so they can be lower level to protect better)

lol yea those bigass box plugs that you find in alot of electronics...

damnded things cover up like 3 outlets on the strip sometimes end up having an extention on an extention on another little extention

pretty bad here in america... even our plugs are fat

Most mixers have a ground.

Any high power electronic device, 99.9% of the time will have a ground.
