Review: Chus & Cellabos@Boa
Unfortunately I couldn't make it, even for a couple of hours after work. I forgot about daylight savings time so as it turned out, I lost 1 hour of work time, which meant that I couldn't leave till about 8AM. That, and the weather is SO SHIT that I didn't even want to walk those few KM's from Bay to Spadina.
Anyways...I guess they're still ripping Boa apart since nobody posted anything? Hope ya'll are havin a good time 
Just got home and its 1:16pm. The roads on the highway, FACKED! On the way there, it actually got dangerous as we coudnt see ANYTHING! Scary moments, but got thur and got to boa.
Got in boa, met up with ubertrancer, diginut, stereoprincess, the vrk, saw rabbitjoker later, and cuzo, preppychick, and alot i cant think of the names cause i'm an idiot who cant remember lol! shift5gears (not your exact name, but close enough. to tired and frigged right now to get it perfect haha).
The night was fackin amazing. I never saw chus and ceballos before and holy mother FACK! lol! Such a friggin amazing time! The must those two guys spin is amazing!!! Such awesome beats! I was trying to dance my ass off to it, but it was DAAAAMN hot in that place!
Left boa at like 9:15am roughly. Got out of toronto, on the highway, then drive for abit. Slowed down massive times, then passed a crash with some weird horse trailer on the other side of the highway. Then it slows down again, and we pass a crash with a dump truck and two transport trucks. Get past that AGAIN! Then slow down, come to a total stop, put it in park. Then all of a sudden the "trunk people" which means 6 cars on the left and right lanes, one after another, open their trunks! One by one they got shit out of their trunks, and then this one guy, the driver, gets in the back seat of his car to chill! FINALLY the cars start to move, and we get home in a decent time after that.
I'd write more stuff but its 1:26pm in the afternoon, I havent slept yet, and I feel facked lol. GREAT SEEING YOU ALL! YOU GUYS ARE TRULY WICKED! lata!

What a Night
This was one wild night!
I got to boa around 2ish, it was nicely populated with a sea of people dancing haha The music was amazing, Nevio did an amazing job opening. Chus and Ceballos just destroyed it. They were playing the dirtiest beats alll night! It feels like I ran a marathon last night. I fuckin love these guys, I wish i could see them every weekend! I haven't danced like that since new years, and it felt fuckin gooooddd!!! Thank you C & C for holding it down so big and throwing those crazy beats, you had the dancefloor in your palm! i love tribal!
Tons of TA's out! Had a fantastic night, hope everyone else did too ! cheers to everyone last night, the vibe was amazing! Can't wait to see these guys again, always a pleasure. Hope everyone had as much fun as i did
OMFG.. i just woke up. The music... INSANITY. Holy crap just the most insane beats ever. Got there around 2, nice and warmed up..

), RJ, others I'm sure I've forgotten (sorry!) Met lots of TA's and put some names to faces.. Nice to meet Sly Guy (happy bday man!), tw1tch (you leave early?), preppie chick, playa24_7, spankmeister and kabelicious (safe trip home i hope!) C&C came on and the dancefloor exploded.. Nothing else to say except if my back wasn't so sore I would've danced the whole time..
I don't remember it really letting up until like 8am, when TOTA Late Night Dancefloor Massive was holding it down on the main floor. Even then C&C weren't letting us go, they were banging HARD till the end (when i left) and i don't doubt for a lot longer.
I also really liked how they came on and came right out with the driving beats.. intense!!
awesome night.. great times - can't wait to see some pics..

Well, I'm on the train to Montreal right now. I did leave somewhat early for a C&C night (6:30 or so) but I just couldn't bring myself to forget that I had to go to Montreal later that day. I'm a HUGE fan of their sound, and last night they delivered like they always do. Just nasty basslines and percussion, track after track. I get giddy each time a track has played for 3 minutes or so and I see them mixing something in, I'm dieing to hear them drop the next track, the way they mix on that BOA system is heavenly. It keeps me going and going, with a grin from ear to ear. I don't think I let up (minus water bottle refills for a solid 2 hours before I took a break. You can tell they love playing here, you can tell that BOA including staff (ahem. Carey rockin it in the booth) loves having them here. The booth was rockin, the floor was rockin, need I say more? You would be hard pressed to find someone who doesn't have a good time, if not amazing time seeing these guys. Even if they're not your typical style. Tons of TA's out, I met a whole wack of people, looking forward to many more nights out with everyone.
It was pretty hot in there as the night went on. The new booth is better then the old one, I could go for it being a little lower, so they're no up so high like a stage. All in all, a great improvement from the huge gap the stairell provided in the old booth.
I will be there for their next visit JULY 23rd, front row and center, sporting the home made Stereo t-shirt.
Now it's time for more cocktails.
Ummmm....what to say about the night? Music kinda sucked, crowd wasn't really into it, it was way too hot and anyone who didn't come out really didn't miss anything....

As for the rest of us......unbelievable night, music was outta this world, dj interaction with the crowd was great to see and the people there really knew how to throw it down. Special thanks to 2 people who i know are reading this (you know who you are), you two are the nicest people I've ever met in my life, thanks for celebrating my birthday with me and thanks for the sets. All the ussual suspects were in fine form and had an amazing time with all of you. Danny.....so wicked to properly party with you finally, and don't forget what i said about calling me whenever you need a lift. Jeff....thanks for the pass, the party favours and doing it up right on my birthday. Anyway....thanks to everyone that wished me a happy bithday!!!.....see ya next week...lol!!!
Wow, I am a BOA convert now. C&C was perhaps one of the best shows I've been to in the past year. They fuckin' banged it out and I honestly couldn't stop dancing all night long. I am defintely a full convert to the ways of the house music. Darren, see me for your toaster.
It was awesome getting to meet more of the TOTAs - you guys are such a cool gang of people to hang with. I swear, I will be visiting TO whenever I can for shows - nothing can match the energy you put out or the vibe you create.
Thank you to Penny for a place to stay - love you girl - and to Darren for driving/introducing me to the scene in TO.
Thanks to Sly Guy for some fun lessons in light tricks. We'll have to continue our liquid vs. speed exchange at DT at the Docks in May if I don't see you sooner.

ok I think I am ready....
the ride to T.O. was pretty scary as Dan has mentioned..couldn't see a damn thing for the longest time. There was NO stopping me from getting to BOA.
The night started off great and ended just perfectly (even though at 945-10-45am..whatevet time it was I was soo not ready to leave 
) We got there around 1:30ish...and I was glad to see no line up and the weather was just rediculous. There were already a nice amount of TA's there..which is always great!
The dancing started wayy before Chus & Ceballos came on..as the music was a great start off to the night. But once these two guys were on...wow the maddness began. I was so happy to see the amount to TA's that made it..with just smiles across the board....and omg the dancing..I was impressed by how hard people were going. Diginut, Sly_Guy...I love how you are all smiles.., the Vrk (thanks for always being such a sweetheart and making a girl smile, Preppychick..I honestly adore you, Jay (u machine!!)5hiftn6ears..u're a silly boy..thanks for the hook up, Ub3rTrancer..I just cannot get enough of your moves, Floorwhore (of course as always) and Playa24_7.....wow Dan from the first time we partied till now...you have honestly have become harder and crazier! (someone add this guy to the danceathon!!) Nice to meet Spankmeister..super friendly guy. Thanks guys for all your amazing energy!!!!!
I loved the ENTIRE set...not a single dull moment and it was flawless!! So easy not to want to dance to these guys all night long. Even though I have sick all week..once I got there I did not feel it at all. Sicks tunes including that remix of "PUMP PUMP THE JAM" haha classic oldschool track!!! I love that these guys are all smiles and SUPER friendly..as I got to chat it up with Chus for a bit (told him I was Portuguese and he started speaking it as he knows the language as I guessed he would) These guys are so amazing to me...and I love the fact that my first time to BOA was when Chus & Ceballos were there in October. From that night on thse guys have been one of my favourites! I will definately be there to see them next time!!!
This is definately a night I will remember for a long time. I even ran into an old friend..one of Floorwhores Dundas's crew that I meet 4 years ago. His name is Tommy...I was telling him all about Trance addict!
The night flew...like always I find at BOA..and the ride home as Dan also mentioned was rediculous. Listening to Chus & Ceballos on the way home of course. There is on track i was hoping to hear..Jeff..help me out with this one...that amazing piano sound track..very uplifting and wow....it just makes me happy listening to it!
Anyway...I think that is all for now...I have my pics here for you guys. Until next time.....

I got in around 3:30 and the club was bumpin. Love the vibe, everyone was all smiles and uber friendly. Found a sweet spot on the stage with an awesome view of the club and got right down to business. C&C came on just after 4 and took this party to the next level. That was one dirty bassline I tell ya!! Thanks Graham for convincing me to check them out. I needed a good dose of DDTT and I got just that. I was supposed to leave by 7 but took off at 9 instead. Even then I had to force myself to go.
Great seeing so many TAs out. Larissa, Katy, Tristan & Max... loved dancing with you guys on stage. Nice meeting you for the first time, Abood & Playa24_7. Darren, great seeing you man. Ray, Margs, Graham, RJ, Kevin, Jeff, Frank & all the other TAs I bumped into over the night... there's no party without you guys.
Got in da club around 2ish with my bud Jay, no line up which was great. TOTA squad out in full effect, lots of PLUR going around. Nevio did a great job with the opennin set, but Chus & Ceballos steal the show. They played a massive set! One of the best house sets ive heard 
I was loving it, couldt stay away from the dance floor for too long even tho i had this massive stomach cramp all night due to too many rye and ginger previously enjoyed.
Giving a shoutout to: my Detroit homeboii Spankmeister (hook me up with the pics brotha!) and you lovely friend kabelicious, it was pleasure meeting you. Dance2dabeat, Playa24_7, floorwore, shiftgears, Preppie chick, highroller, sterrreoprincess... Nice runnin into RJ and Tordan. I know im forgettin a few key ppl, my bad, it scaped my mind!

Ok, so I am finally home....after driving back the the D, dropping Kris(kabelicious) off and then driving home another 45 minutes, being here for a whole 10 minutes before I headed out to a Stacey Pullen and Kevin Saunderson show here in Ann Arbor...
What a amazing night~! I had a couple of TO newbies with me and one that hadn't fully converted to the TOTA way...and all the TOTA's showed their customary hospitality!!! They are full converts now...if this keeps up, we will have the entire clubbing population up to TO every chance they can!.......Here is the review my buddy Jason posted on our Detroit Forum(non-TA)

My appearance was totally unplanned and unexpected, this is how it all went down...
I went to Venue in the evening for a co-worker's b-day gathering. Had a little more to drink than I expected, so at 3am once everyone scatttered, I decided it wasn't a great idea to drive (seeing a minivan on the sidewalk with 4 cruisers and 3 officers on horses around it confirmed that), not to mention that I was about ready to bounce of the walls after all the redbull that I consumed. Passed by Republik, thought about going in, but for whatever reason decided Boa would be better. How I got to Boa, can't remember, it was a very blurry walk.
Now, onto the review...
Got inside around 3:20 or so...The place was alread jumping, before I even got to the coatcheck, ran into Tordan and StereoPrincess, always good to see you. As the night went on, spent most of the night front and center with the rest of the TOTAs, always a pleasure hanging around you guys. Joined Tordan on the stage for a bit, awesome view from there, and lots of space to dance.
First time seeing/hearing C&C, the music was good all night long. I left around 7:15, the party was still going strong, but I was way too tired.
The aftermath...
Got home around 8-8:15am. Decided I'll watch a movie instead of going to sleep. Passed out minutes later on the couch. 3PM...get off couch, go to bed. 11PM...WTF am I doing up? Time to sleep. 6:30am (monday)...time to go to work.
Im not usually big on reviews but C&C proved again why they are my favorite DJ's. Their set was not as good as NYE in my opinion but that would be hard to do twice. They rocked BOA something fierce on Saturday/Sunday. I saw my usual Trance Addicts and met Gamma (super nice dude). Also, is the girl below the little 19 year old who's a FILM regular?? Chilled with her and shot the shit for a bit, tell her the 26 year old (Matt) said hey
