Grand Theft Auto: Ibiza
Ok I finally figured out how to use a modding tool for the Grand Theft Auto games for PC. And now I want to create my own mod and it will be called Grand Theft Auto: Ibiza. The first test I did with the modding tools was I took a club from Vice City and made it 100 times bigger and just packed it with people to if it can be done and it worked so it can be done 
Story
The story will be similar to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and San Andreas. You have this big crime boss from Spain who sends his best man (our main character) to Ibiza to do some dirty work for him. When he gets to Ibiza he finds out that they (the boss and the main character) had been set up. He loses the bosses money and now he has to do everything he can to find the money. Later on the main character finds out that his father was murdered and the killer is in Ibiza but the real killer was the big boss because the main character lost his money. So now he has to find the money, and go after some guy who he thinks killed his father. But when he finds him the guy accused of killing his father tells him that it was the boss from Spain and tells him that the boss wants the main character dead. So now he has to make his own gang and take over his old gang�s empire. He will form partnership will other gangs and some of them will screw him over.
Game play
The game play will be a lot like the other GTA games. You can steal cars, own property and businesses like Clubs, Bars, Retailers and you will also be drug dealing (selling E most of the time). A new future will be DJ mission. If you want to make extra money you will walk into any clubs and spin records. It will be like Dance Dance Revolution where you have to step on the square it tells you to on the screen. But instead you will be using the keyboard and you will have to press the arrows it tell you to. Of you screw up, there will be a train wreck and you will be kicked out of the club. Not only that you wont make any money but you will lose money for being a crap DJ. You can always go back next day and try again. Other side missions will be drug dealing, vigilant mission, taxi driving, etc� EDIT: There will be a lot of clubs but only 5 big ones.
Music
Music will be an important thing for this mod. What I wanna do is have like several types of radio stations playing different type of electronic dance music. For example:
� Station 1: Uplifting/Epic Trance
� Station 2: House Music
� Station 3: Progressive Trance
� Station 4: Cheese 
� Station 5: Progressive House/ Tech House (Just like in Grand Theft Auto 3)
� Station 6: Drum and Bass
� Station 7: 80s Dance music
� Station 8 Talk Radio (will be done by me and some friends of mine)
When you walk into a club they will be playing different type of music just like the radio stations. For example you can walk into one club and they will be playing Trance and walk into another one and they will be playing House.
Setting
This game will take place in Ibiza, Spain. Present Day.
Game Engine
For now im just testing out some thing on Vice City but the game will be running on a San Andreas engine. San Andreas comes out for PC June 2005.

. sounds cool man. just a question though...i remember a long time ago people were talking about stuff like shopping for records and djing in the clubs. is that all going to be implemented somehow...or is that too difficult to do?
anyway...i have some suggestions, but gimme sometime to think about it hehehe

You could have Sasha as a crime kingpin who tries to kill you by throwing his killer vinyl at you!
don't spose there's any chance of throwing a traktor-style DJ machine in is there?

You should have a rave out of town a bit in the woods, with heaps of disco lights, strobes & lazers. Create a mission where you have to supply teh ravers with their candy. You gotta wipe out a triad gang & steel their Es or something. & then get away from the cops-> a race to the rave scene. Collect $20,000 at the end.
Have a 'trippen mode' where all the buildings turn into mushrooms, all the cars turn into bettles, all the people start looking like hot babes & the helecopter is a flying bass drum!

Lots of drug running.
And see if ETN or DI.fm can somehow be used as radio stations in the game. Not pre-recorded, but the livestreams. :up:
wouldn't it be aloooot of programming to do all those things?

Ok then do a mission where you go to a rock concert and get the message "These people arent listening to Trance. Massacre them"
Sounds like a great idea. How many ppl are working on this? Seems like it's ALOT of work, especially with the programming...

You could have Eers that only say nice things. Things Like:
-"oh, I have this beautiful wave coming over me"
-"I love you man. You'r my best friend"
-"Do you feel the way I do. I feel great"
-"Are you ready to drop the other one yet?"
oh, and i request a techno station sir! maybe you could put it in the place of the uplifting trance, it sucks.
