G'day guys!!

Just a quick post to say hello to everyone on this board. I've just recently emmergated from the uk to Melbourne Oz and been here for 4 months. Left all my mates behind in the uk and can't really go clubbing anymore!! the people i've met over here arn't really into it...just wondered where i could go to meet people up for clubbing etc. Proper into trance and use to go Godskitchen every other week at Code...

Dude you've come to the right place. some of the melb TA's love their meetups. just keep an eye on upcoming events posted in this forum and head to some of those. You'll meet some people soon enough.

EDIT: oh and i think they're organising a star wars ub3r geek meetup too. refer here.

Hey Jake, welcome to Australia. If you want to meet a few TA's come down to Altitude this Friday for 'transcend'. It's on bullens lane in the city.

Quite a few will be there plus Adam White (whiteroom) playing to!

Oh and dj warden will be there but nobody cares about that so dont worry either

Thanks for being so cool.

May not be able to make this friday as my mum is visiting from the uk. Will you be going the week after? btw i will most likely be coming on my own as all the people i know over here are boring and do not like trance etc. Be great to meet you guys, really missing the music out here...

Transcend is a once a month thing so maybe if your mum doesn't want to come ask her not to come until next week? (j/k)

Well she's flying back on friday...not sure it'll be her scene, she hates it when i play tunes at home...

I may be able to come if her flight time is quite early. Be quality to see Adam White, great producer. Be cool to meet some new clubbing buddies too!!

Any other events going on in the next couple of weeks?

jake if you're going out next week, see our sticky au.ta picture thread to see what some of us might look like, we usually stroking our chins near the bar or in case of internationals visiting, front and centre! bear in mind we might look a little errr.. distorted! My mums flight is 2.30pm on friday afternoon so it looks like I'll be able to come on friday night. Don't worry about being distorted, I understand, ha!!

Just wondered being as I'm coming on my own (don't know anyone who's into trance etc.) would it be possible to meet any of you guys in a well known location in there?

Also need directions etc. is it far from bay street in port melbourne? (near where i live)...

Hi Jake, hope you are enjoying Melbourne my partner and I are heading to UK in September, maybe you can give us some tips on some places we can hear some good tunes !

We will be at Altitude tonight.. going with Dave Begic, one of the DJ�s and his g/f so we may meet you at some stage..
