Hmm..... Interesting!

Posted by UWM on Apr-04-2005 15:13:

I'll be down at this for sure

Posted by RJT on Apr-04-2005 19:43:

Tyler, do you by chance teach a course on how to get booked in Wisco?

If so sign me up dude, SP is killing me...

Posted by tylerc on Apr-04-2005 22:56:

Heh, well since you asked I'll take $500 upfront cash.

A buddy and I were discussing the other day that there is a direct correlation between how often you go out and how often you get booked. Just make your presence known and be patient.

Either that or get the hell out of Steven's Point...

Tell me about it... it's hard for me to even meet promoters when I'm in a big city like once a month...

Posted by mannix on Apr-15-2005 18:45:

Oh I will be definitely be there for that one. No better excuse to get drunk on a Saturday.

Of the DJs that will be spinning any reccomendations??

Posted by tylerc on Apr-15-2005 18:58:

I don't know all of the djs but heres what I do know.

Me and Harsh both usually play pretty deep progressive stuff, tho I will probably go more in the breakbeat direction for this set.

Mike Carlson is a legend around here who plays anything you could think of.

Same with Nick Nice, but I predict he'll play house.

Wyatt is a killer house dj.

david muhammad plays hip hop.

Mr.S, Rock Dee and XentriX i know nothing about.

Danny the Wildchild is jungle i think, it should be cool.

Paul Johnson is a techno legend.

Posted by tylerc on Apr-15-2005 19:01:

Oh, and here are the timeslots:

11-Mike Carlson
12-Wyatt Agard
1-DJ Harsh
2-Tyler C
3-David Muhammad
4-Mr. S
4:30-Rock Dee
5:30-PAUL JOHNSON!
7-Nick Nice
8-XsentrX
9-Danny the Wildchild

Should be a blast this year.

Tyler -

Man I'm unable to make it down to Madison today for the set (Attempting to find my way out of the quote "Dog House" )

Is anyone recording your set? If so you should AIM me a copy sometime in the next day or two...

In any evnet, I wish you the best of luck, but when you're as solid a DJ as Tyler C, lucks got nothing to do with it!

Tear the park down my friend.

Peace, Cheers,

RJT

Thumbs up

i was here with a friend and fellow TA Adrias.

I took a few pics with my camera phone but since it costs so much to send pics, i'll have to load them up in a few days.

anyway, it was pretty wicked. we got there around 2 in the afternoon and left around 4. we drove to east towne mall and got food and then came back around 5:40ish. we left about 8:30 i'd say again and went back to his house and spun.

anyway yeah, not sure which people i saw spinnin but it was pretty tight and im glad a came for sure. nice job guys

Posted by tylerc on Apr-25-2005 02:19:

Thanks to anyone who came out and handled the shitty weather. I had a good time.

D-Res I think I saw you, but I wasnt sure...I've never met you before.

Anyone else make it out??
