Recording Problem

Hey guys,
I need some help with my recording via soundforge 6. When i am recording a mix using this program there are 2 bars that go up and down for the db reading, on one of my decks it is fine but then when i transition to the next table only 1 bar goes up and down. Then when i write the mix to cd 1 song will play fine, then 1 will play only out of the speakers on one side of my car? then after the next transition the music spreads until all the speakers are working ect.

Hope you guys can point me in the right direction.

seems to be that your second deck (the one that only outputs one channel of sound) isn't connected properly to your mixer. check the red and white plugs, twist them around a bit and see that they are connected properly to the correct inputs on your mixer.

(should be same as your first deck...red plug to red input on mixer channel 1/phono, white to white etc.)

that *should be the problem...

I seem to have found the problem i was recording in mono not stereo.
