I'm really curious to find ways to induce people under hypnosis and to be able to reach a state of pure relaxation. Do any of you know any methods that work??? Imagine the power you would have if you were able to perform hypnosis on the desired individual...

You will only relax if you want to relax. People cannot be put into a state of meditation or hypnosis unless they really want to - that is all you need. From then on, it's just method.

My friend tried getting hypnotized to stop smoking. But it didn't work

i heard it really works for people who want to quit a bad habit.

i don't know if i could be hypnotized...u have to really want to be, and you have to relax completely and not think about anything...that's impossible for me.

I found an old book at my last uni on hypnotism and it had a step by step, word by word instruction section. I tried it on my friend but all he did was drool on himself. I was gonna hypnotise him and have em hit on chicks.....so much for that.

and this is not a debated phenomenon, it does occur. Although the proceedure has changed a lot. they used to rub magnets on your head and talk you into a suggestive state...but soon they left the magnets behind.

ahhh, its good clean fun.

waaaaaaay back in the day, they used to use hypnotism instead of anastesia!

he used to hypnotise them for surgery...

id really like to learn how to do this just for shits.
imagine if ur high and ur doin it its such a great party trick!

gotta learn... any good links? i think its easy as long as ur calm and soothing sounding, but those guys who do it professionally can put someone completely under their power in like 2 minuts!
